This month we are taking a look inside my Lunch Bag.
Join us every month as we take a peek into something new.
I am a stay at home mom so I don't have to pack a lunch on a daily basis. On Tuesday we were at the hospital for Austin's surgery. I planned ahead and packed snacks. This was to keep myself on track and accountable for the day. Plus we were at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus which is huge and I get lost easy. Also who knows what was going to be open with Covid going on. (Most food was open and we did end up grabbing something to eat while we were there. I just had a yogurt parfait.)
Here is what I packed:
- I always take water with me every where I go. I am to drink at last 75 oz of water a day. I achieve this better when I have my water with me and by me at home. Otherwise it ends up being 7 at night and I am downing water and means I wake up having to pee all night.
- Fruit. We had grapes that I grabbed. Usually I would grab melon and berries but my kids ate them all.
- Veggies. I try to eat at least 3-4 cups of veggies a day. I took celery and carrots with a side of red pepper hummus.
- Protein bars.
- Shake packaged. I usually blend my shakes but you can also just shake with water and ice.
- Energize package. This is actually my preworkout but a great alternative to coffee when you need a boast.
What do you pack in your lunch or what are your go to snacks?
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
I tend to carry water and fruit or carrot sticks around with me too. If we're hiking or doing real physical activity I might pack trail mix or peanut butter crackers so I have some protein to hold me over too.
