Hodge Podge

Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. Hope you are staying warm. Today's high in Northern Ohio is in the lower 40's, yesterday we had some freezing snow and I saw that other places were getting hit with snow already.  Today I am linking up with Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond for Wednesday Hodpodge.

 1. What's something you wish you'd figured out sooner?

Budgeting, credit card debt, etc. I unfortunately bought my first house in 2009 when the banks were "allowing" you to buy beyond your means. As you can guess that didn't go well. At that time my then husband and I had a truck repossessed, the house when under foreclosure, and more. We both had bad spending habits and more. I have since learned a lot that I wish they would have taught in school.

2. Something from childhood you still enjoy today?

I grew up going camping at least once a month. I still love camping even though I don't get to go enough.

3. Are you a fidgeter? What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word fidget?

Yes I am a big fidgeter and have always been. I can't sit still very long. I am always adjusting my position, twirling my fingers or something. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear fidget is all the kids fidget toys.

4. Your favorite fall vegetable? How do you like it prepared?

Number one fall vegetable would be all things pumpkin. Usually it comes in the form of a baked good though.

My other favorite fall vegetable is spaghetti squash. I use it in place of regular spaghetti such as with shrimp scampi.

5. What's something you find mildly annoying, but not annoying enough to actually do anything about? Might you now?

My kids.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Brian made me a delicious belated Sweetest Day dinner on Sunday. (Sweetest Day was Saturday) We use to get each other gifts but stopped over the years. Do you celebrate Sweetest Day?

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

Feel free to follow along.
