Friday Favorites Hello March

Hey friends. We made it to Friday and it is finally March. I declare March the new year of 2024. The first two months sucked around here with sickness. I am starting this month with looking back at my word of the year "Intentional". But first

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Anna found her make-up that she got for Christmas. She beautifully did her make-up for the day. I love how excited she was about doing her make-up and showing everyone. (the make-up has since been put up because that glitter is hard to get off and got in her eyes.

~ TWO ~

Anna got a new Disney Princess Matching game that she is loving.

~ THREE ~

Anna was cold so she dressed herself. Purple pants, a gray hoodie with Minnie Mouse and a blue spaghetti strap dress over it. I love that she has her own sense of style and doesn't have a care in the world what others thing, stay that way. She ended up in just the dress as the temps reached the upper 60s.

~ FOUR ~

Enjoying the gorgeous weather while we could. Austin is still loving playing basketball. The mornings it is nice out I will drink my coffee on the front porch while Austin shoots some hoops as we wait for the bus.

~ FIVE ~

What started off as having a crabby daughter who didn't want to go shopping and wouldn't let me leave her sight let alone go downstairs to workout. I grabbed my mat, switched up my planned workout and got a workout done outside in the gorgeous 60 degree weather . I can see doing more workouts on our patio this summer.

~ SIX ~

Ella is my tree monkey and climbs this tree whenever she gets a change. We were suppose to be cutting down this tree but I opted against it for a few reasons, one being that she loves it, and another being it screams that beautiful red orange in the fall. If you are new here we cut down 8 trees since we moved in two years ago between being to close to the house, old and rotting, or in the way of our future pool. We also live next to woods so there is still plenty of tree nearby.

~ SEVEN ~

Austin is all about getting anyone to play basketball with him. I played for a little, and Brian played for a little. Next year for basketball the hoops are 10 feet hoops instead of the 8 foot hoops he has had the last few years. I told him he needs to work on his upper body strength and practice to get better at shooting higher. He said "mom I have upper body strength lets have a push up challenge". He did good but mommy still won.

~ EIGHT ~

I hoped on my bike this week. It has been forever since I rode, partially because I couldn't get it connected or stay connected with our internet acting up. It felt good to ride. I am doing 4/4 working out this week.

~ NINE ~

We went from wearing shorts and flip flops on Wednesday morning to snow flurries Wednesday afternoon. Woke up to a light dusting of snow on Thursday. Great way to shock out systems. I am ready for the warmer weather to stay.

In case you missed, here's a quick look at the blog this week:

Aww! Anna looks like she had fun with her make up, just look at her smile. She looks so happy. I love her sense of style. Who says you can't wear pants, hoodies and a dress. hehehe
That is fab that you are keeping the tree. It looks like Ella really does love it.
