Hey friends. A few weeks ago I got to go with Brian on a business trip to Orlando without kids. If you missed anything I already shared

Orlando Business Trip Day 3

Today I am sharing day 4 which ended up being a surprise day for me.

Can you guess where we are at?

Brian's nephew works at Disney World and surprised me with a day at Epcot. I had went with the intention that we were not doing any Disney parks just doing Disney Springs and relaxing on this trip so when they tell me we are going to Epcot I was excited.

We got to the park and Nate had already gotten us virtual que for Guardians of the Galaxy. Even though I have never seen the movie it is still a very awesome ride. Compared to all the other rides at Disney (excluding Tron because I have never rode it) Disney is known for calmer themed rides, this is an actual thrill ride.

After Guardians I needed coffee, we got Joffrey's and it was delicious. Brian wanted a relaxing day, not running from ride to ride and wanted to enjoy walking around World Showcase. We stopped in to see feeding the manatees as we finished our coffees.

This was our first time seeing the new Moana water exhibit. It is beautiful and so much to see. I loved the water playing different sounds and being able to make it bounce higher. I can't wait to take my kids to see it they will love it and never want to leave.

If you are not paying attention when you walk around you can mill little details. Throughout the exhibit carved into the rock, or made out of a bush are different characters from Moana. Here are the coconut pirates. (I don't know what they are called)

Next we rode Finding Nemo. Yes the ride never really has a wait and needs a major update with technology but it is a fun relaxing ride.

Figment, you either love it or hate it. Brian isn't a fan so we normally skip it but Nate wanted to ride it so we did.
Next we went into World Showcase grabbed some Japanese for lunch and did a little shopping. I had sushi and a iced matcha for lunch, Brian had a chicken bowl of some short and a green tea beer that he really enjoyed. I grabbed Ella a pair of personalized chop sticks that she has used a lot at home already.

Unfortunately Nate had to leave to go to an audition for a new show coming to Disney. We were able to stay at the park but a little agreement because he wasn't with us. We walked Nate to the front of the park to catch a bus then we headed over to Soarin and Living with the Land.

Of all the times we had been to Disney I have never seen most of the shows. First up was Oh Canada. It is a 15 minute 360 degrees video. I vacationed every year in Canada as my grandparents are originally from there. It was neat to see placed I have been to and added so much to a bucket list that I would love to go visit.

Brian and I spent time exploring the shops and little paths throughout the World Showcase. Brian had a work phone call so I wondered the hedges in England.

We grabbed a chocolate croissant (that didn't have much chocolate) and a ham and cheese croissant in France. Then checked out the Beauty and the Beast sing along that is somewhat new ( opened 2020) and we had never done, but I also didn't know it was there until recently. It was cute and I am sure my kids would love it too.

Brian got a believe was a frozen beer or something. I was not a fan.

We explored Morocco, got a beer in Germany for me, checked out the Frozen gift shop and bought Anna a cute Frozen little toy. Then rode the ride in Mexico. Also enjoyed a delicious margarita and empanadas.

By 630 the lines were getting shorter. We waited to 45 minutes to ride Ratatouille. It was a hot wait outside for the first 10 minutes with no breeze then winding line inside. The ride is so cute and worth it.

For dinner Brian and I shared a slice of pizza and I got a Prosecco.

A black and white beer, it is a mix of Guinness and Harp. Brian liked it, I don't like Guinness.

We walked around and stayed to watch the fireworks. Then did some shopping on the way out. It was a busy day with lots of step. This is a normal day for us at any of the Disney Parks hitting so many steps. I was ready for bed by the time we got back to the hotel.
