This month we are sharing Where Do You Shop?

The holidays are here are the start of the biggest shopping season of the year. I do a lot of my shopping online, and some in store. But where do I shop? I am sharing it all from grocery shopping, to random shopping, to my favorite places to just get away and wonder around.

Lets start with every day shopping.

Groceries:
For 90 % of our groceries I get at Aldi's. I go shopping once a week in person or using instacart.
For meat we currently have half a pig from an organic free range farm in Kentucky that my sister in law owns so lots of sausage. Locally we either get meat at Sam's Club or Costco, and Fresh Thyme.
Other random food items we shop at Giant Eagle or Marc's for.
In the summer we also do a garden with some neighbors and share the veggies and shop local farmers market.

Everyday Essentials:
I have swapped shopping at big box stores for everyday essentials (from personal care, beauty, supplements, cleaning, and more) to an online store. It has helped us save money with not going into the big boxed stores, and supporting American made. If you are interested in more info on the wellness box, comment below or send me an email

Clothes:
Let's be honest. I wear the same clothes that I have had for years. I will randomly buy something from Amazon or a thrift store. Our two favorite local thrift stores are Volunteers of America and Value World.
My favorite leggings are from Athleta and Fabletics
My kids get a lot of hand me downs, and gifts from grandparents for their birthdays and Christmas. They usually shop at Sam's Club, Kohls, Target

Gifts:
Beyond shopping at Amazon online Jane.com is back open. Etsy is always a good place for something personalized.

In person Target, Tj Maxx, Old Navy, and Marshalls.

  1. I'm wondering about ordering at Jane! It's weird how it closed suddenly!

    1. I am hesitant with everything that happened last time with them closing so abruptly and so many buyers and sellers being affected

  2. There's a lot of shops that I've not been to as they're only in the US but I do know Aldi, we sometimes shop there and there's always so many bargains. They always have the best food at Christmas too.
I do love Etsy, they do some lovely gifts.
