Friday Favorites

Hey loves. It's Friday. Happy Friday. It is still a cold winter wonderland here in Northern Ohio. We got a couple inches yesterday, some unexpected. My kids had a short 3 day week with being off for Presidents day then a cold day with temps below 0. I am ready for temps above freezing and some sunshine.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Valentine's Day dinner. Brian made steak, lobster tails, and mash potatoes. It was delicious even the kids ate the steak.

~ TWO ~

Last Saturday's basketball game for Austin was the highlight so far this year. The team not only won, but you could see the confidence in the kids that wasn't there before. It was a much needed win.

~ THREE ~

I got a surprise visit from my bestie. We only live like 30 minutes apart but haven't seen each other in probably 2 years because #momlife with 7 kids between us. We do talk, text, and/or video chat everyday.

~ FOUR ~

I have the best little helpers.

Anna and Austin helped shovel snow at the church between services.

~ FIVE ~

Freeze day and no school means we make sourdough chocolate chip cookies. These were by far my favorite chocolate chip cookies we have made. The recipe only made 20 cookies and they didn't even last 2 days.

~ SIX ~

These two play so well together well before school. We don't do electronics before school. It is usually just music playing on Alexa or ambiance music on the TV. (it is a different story after school)

~ SEVEN ~

Catching snow flakes on our tongues.

~ EIGHT ~

Earlier this week we were running out of snacks and I was limiting how much pirate booty they could have. They both decided on apples, which I love. They are about half of each of them then threw them outside to the wildlife.
