Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We had a long 4 day weekend with my kids still off today. They was lots of snow, fun with friends, and a more.

Thursday
After school Brian surprised Anna and Austin with a bigger fort in Austin's room. He put two mattresses and a TV, plus a long crawl through the tunnel with night lights so they could see. They are loving fort weekends when they get to have sleepovers especially this weekend with it being 4 nights.
Friday
Happy Valentines Day.
6:04am I got woken up by a laughing hyena aka Anna laughing at the TV. Why do my kids wake up super early when they have the option to sleep in. Also making it so I don't get to sleep in.
Brian got up and got dressed and left the house. He surprised us with donuts and a latte from Dunkin.
Cozy thrift find, old school Disney sweatshirt for less than $3. I had work to do, a zoom call, and my kids to feed non-stop all day.
Fridays are also laundry day. I don't talk about my love of this detergent enough. It is 9x concentrated, safe ingredients, but the best part is it is scented and doesn't cause Anna's eczema to flare up. I have tried so many other brands of laundry detergent many of which we had to give away/throw away after one use by the reaction it would have on Anna's skin. Meal Power is from the wellness box and we are loving it. I have been using it for a year and half almost.
My kids played together and got along for most of the day. Ella went to her dads for the weekend and was finally started to feel better.
Brian made our Valentine's dinner. Steak, lobster tail, and mash potatoes. It was delicious, even my kids are the steak and tried the lobster.
We ended the night with a family movie night watching Peter Pan and eating popcorn.
Saturday
Lazy start to our Saturday morning. I curled up and read some while the kids played. Brian had a meeting then came home and helped me fold all the laundry and put it away.
Austin had an afternoon basketball game. It was at his home court and the team they played against were equal in their ability and skills. It was a good game to watch. Austin's team won their first game.
Surprise visit from my best friend who I haven't seen in 2 years but we talk and/or video chat everyday. She stopped by for a few minutes since she was in my area. It was nice for a quick catch up.
We ended our evening with our neighbors coming over, everyone was finally healthy so the kids could play and the parents could relax.
Sunday
I woke up at 630 to hearing frozen rain hitting the window. I got out of bed at 7 and looked out the window and it was snowing and our trampoline was already covered. By the time we left for church at 830 we had over an inch.
It was a wonderful church service as always. Anna was her usually self dancing away. She is now an Irish dancer doing a jig this week, who knows where this came from my thought is something on TV because she is also obsessed with leprechauns. We had a meeting for 1st communion and the kids had Sunday school.
Brian also had a property meeting at the church, while we were waiting for it to finish Anna and Austin helped shovel the sidewalk of the church.
When we were leaving Austin was like "mom so many people complimented me and said thank you. " I love that.
After church Brian used the snow blower we had gotten around 6 inches of snow. He did our driveway and our neighbors, plus the sidewalks. Then we took the kids to our neighbors house to play and for them to watch them. Brian and I went to a play and dinner with our church group.
It was a local play in a very small theater, maybe 100 seats. It was put on wonderfully and the actors were great, but this particular play wasn't for us. We had a great time at dinner with some wonderful conversations learning more about our church and connected with the members of our group.
After dinner we went and picked up our kids which ended up staying for a little while for a drink and relaxing. Then home to bed after a long day.
