Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a busy weekend, and it is a long weekend my kids don't have school today. We had warmer temps, minus today is freezing again. I am excited for a new month, warmer weather, and spring break in a few weeks.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.
Friday
Saturday
Austin also played with cars in his room and was watching some TV.
We officially booked our Disney vacation for this summer to celebrate my 40th birthday. We are staying on site at Disney Saratoga Resort in a two bedroom villa. Our one neighbor family and their two kids are going with us. The countdown and real planning has begun.
Brian needed to go to Menards for grass seed, I needed to go to the pet store and buy blood worms for Anna's frog. We ended up also getting 5 Mickey Mouse fish.
We had a few hours of relaxing, the kids playing, I read and took a nap. Then we dropped the kids off at Brian's mom's house for a sleep over and we headed out to dinner and a fundraiser with our two neighbor couples.
The fundraiser was for the early childhood PTA (which we are not members) at an indoor golf simulator. The guys played golf, baseball and football on the simulator, while the girls just socialized.
After the fundraiser we walked down to another bar in the west banks of the flat. This was my first time going down to the flats.
We had a good time.
Sunday
Sunday morning was rough. Something upset my stomach and I was in the bathroom half the night (tmi-). I didn't sleep much so we didn't go to church I slept instead. Brian went and picked the kids up and we had a relaxing few hours.
Then we repacked my kids suitcases and we drove to my parents house for them to watch the kids for the night. We had an afternoon outing with our church group.
We went to Birdie Time which is an indoor mini gulf course with a bar and restaurant. We had a lot of fun playing mini golf, the food was just ok.
It was weird to be home by 5 with no kids and no plans. Brian and I could have done so much around the house but instead just relaxed, napped, read, and he watched Ryan Hall on YouTube watching all the storms.
It was a great weekend. I have to work today so my mom has my kids since they are off school.
How was your weekend?
Oh I can't wait to follow along with your Disney trip! That bowl you had for dinner looks delish :)
