Hello Monday on a Tuesday

Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a busy weekend that went by way to quick.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.

Friday

No excuses I got up and got my workout in. In reality I picked up Ella from her dads at 6am, drank my preworkout on the way home then went downstairs while she got ready for school.

I offered to drive Anna to school, Austin wanted to take the bus. We were running a little behind so it was a quick drop off. I am so proud that Anna was finally able to unbuckle her seatbelt herself. It made the drop off so much smoother that I didn't have to hop out of the van to unbuckle her.

It turned out to be the perfect time for shopping. I got to Trader Joes right as they opened, Aldi's a little later, and also got a Costco trip done. I didn't plan very well and was late getting home for a work meeting, but only by a few minutes. Costco was busier/slower to check out than I had anticipated.

Anna had her first father daughter dance. She got home from school and changed immediately and wanted her hair done like Elsa. She had two hours before she had to leave for the dance.

They were so excited, ok really Anna was but Brian was all for it.

Anna danced the night away, ran around with her friends, and even danced with her dad a little too.

While they were at the dance I went to our neighbors house for wine night with the girls. The kids played for a while. Brian and Anna came over for a little while after the dance.

Saturday

I had a lazy slow morning on Saturday. I slept in until about 8. I woke up and Brian had left to get donuts and coffee.

Austin was supposed to have baseball, but it got rained out. Brian worked most of the day.

I had a cute little coffee thief, which is the only picture I took all day. I did laundry, vacuumed, and dishes, plus straightened up the house while spending a lot of time reading a book for a book train.

Brian and I had a dinner out with our neighbor friends at a local winery while Ella and her friend watched 7 kids. Things actually went very smoothly and we had a good time.

Sunday

Austin had first communion.

Anna and her excitement.

Austin only drinks water, for communion the option is white grape juice or wine. He bribed him if he drank the juice with his bread he could pick whatever he wanted for lunch, he picked ice cream.

Shockingly neither of them got blue on their clothes.

After church and ice cream we went to our neighbors house for mimosas and for the kids to play without electronics. We were there for a few hours then went home.

I enjoyed an afternoon nap before I took Anna and Austin to a birthday party at a gymnastics gym, which they loved.
