Mom Life with Adrienne

 Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. Hope you are having a wonderful start to July. I am linking up with Jenn over at Overflowing with Thankfulness on the first Wednesday of every month for Currently. 

Loving

Not only is Brian an amazing father to our kids but he is a wonderful boyfriend as well. Brian planned two somewhat surprised birthday parties for me. A few Friday's ago he planned a surprise party with our friends. We dropped off the kids then stopped back at home and our 4 best friends were waiting in my kitchen for my birthday. My sister showed up a little later. We went out to dinner and a bar and had a fun night.

Then on this past Sunday which was my actual birthday he planned a taco themed cookout. He told me it was just family, then my best friend of 37 years showed up. I talk to her everyday but haven't really hung out in over two years because #momlife. She is a mom of 4, two of which are special needs and she doesn't get out often. 

Savoring

Kids grow up way too fast. Over the weekend Anna and I took a cuddling nap together on the love seat. I know our years are limited on her wanting to cuddle and fall asleep, let alone fitting on the couch together.

Brian's dad passed away a year and a half ago. This picture is hanging in our hallway. His birthday was also last month. Anna is at the stage of asking all the questions about Grandpa and wants to go to the cemetery to see him. She will also point out at other cemeteries that grandpa is not buried there.
