Disney World Vacation 2025 Day 4

Hey loves. I am recapping our Disney World vacation that we took the end of July into the beginning of August. We spent a wonderful week down in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. This trip was extra special because it was my 40th birthday trip and we went with another family. Be sure to read Day 1 and Day 2 and Day 3, if you missed it. We are onto day 4, our resort hopping day and more relaxed if you can really say that about a Disney vacation.

Let's start the recap. The plan is to go day by day, but some days maybe broken into two parts depending on how long they are. We had a busy 8 days with 6 days of parks with park hoping, resort hopping, and more.

Saturday August 2, 2025

A great start to Saturday with a slow morning, sleeping in with 5 kids means sleeping until 8am. I will call that a win.

The kids wanted to go swimming and our Disney resort had more than one pool so we ventured to another pool.

This pool had a bigger slide, and a kids splash area that none of the kids wanted to play into. We stayed at the pool for a few hours then went back to the room to grab lunch, rest and head off on resort hop.

We decided to take the boat from our resort to Disney Springs. While waiting for the boat Anna and Ella played with the sea moss they took off trees.

While at Disney Springs we did some window shopping, Anna ended up fall asleep. It was hott her fan and cooling towel were a must.

We headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for our dinner reservations.

The dads went to go check us in, we had two separate reservations at the same time. They were able to put us by each other at two different tables.

I love the decor and right behind us were windows to see the animals outside.

Starting with the bread service.

This bird was right behind me on the other side of the window.

The food was delicious and we got so much.

Kids pizza was also good

Ella got grilled chicken with rice. She was hesitant to try the butter chicken, they brought her out a bowl to try free of charge.

My birthday treat was a mango sorbet.

We loved this restaurant and service. I recommend checking out their menu first as their food is authentic.
Our friends are one is allergic to pineapple, the other it vegan and allergic to mango this made their selection very limited, a lot of the items are made with a mango paste.

After dinner we explored the resort. The animals were so active.

Time for dessert and another adventure. We took a bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom Park. Then hopped on another bus to Port Orleans French Quarter. (the kids were done with buses then now and getting tired)

But it was well worth the wait to get beignets. We grabbed them to go then took a boat from the resort to Disney Springs. We waited over 40 minutes for a boat, they were just that busy. When we got Disney Springs there was another long line to get on a different boat back to our resort. Instead we ended up walking the 15 minutes to our room.

The kids got on their tablets, the adults enjoyed some wine and dessert.
