Hey loves. It's Friday. I hope you had a great week. We had a busy week. I feel like I was either at work, working the schools book fair, helping out at Girl Scouts, other PTA meetings, or driving somewhere. I feel like I haven't been home and on the go. I am looking forward to a slower weekend and week ahead and the official start of the Christmas season.
~ ONE ~
Brian and I had a much needed date night and our kids had a fun sleepover at Grandma's. For dinner we went to Tartini in Rocky River (if you are local). It was delicious. I got a chicken tartini which is an opened faced sandwich.
~ TWO ~
Shopping along without kids looking for Christmas lights and grabbing some odds and ends. Isn't this a cute hippopotamus drinking a hot chocolate. I wanted him, but didn't get him.
~ THREE ~
Our lights are up. We had to buy all new lights because one of our old red and white strands stopped working last year after we put them on the house. We couldn't find a replacement strand so instead we got red white and green.
~ FOUR ~
Yes that is a fox. I was doing dishes after eating breakfast and saw a fox in the backyard. By the time I grabbed my phone he ran to the front. This was our first time seeing a fox. We obviously get deer all the time, and have seen the occasional coyote but never a fox.
~ FIVE ~
Mommy's little helper making waffles. I bought a new waffle maker. We had previously been using a mini heart waffle maker. To make a batch of waffles would take over an hour. This one makes 4 square Belgium waffles at the same time so much quicker and the waffles are so much bigger.
