Hello Monday 12.15.2025

Hey loves. How was your weekend? Ours has been cold and snowy.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.

Friday

I slept in. My bed was just so cozy I didn't want to get up. With that I didn't have time to workout, but I did my Bible study then got the day started with getting my kids off to school.
After they were on the bus I threw dinner in the crockpot and got some work done on my laptop for the Real Estate company.
I spent most of the day doing laundry and cleaning up the house. I added water to the fish tank and watered all my plants that needed it.

I finally found the motivation to finish day 5 of week 2 workout aka I drank preworkout got the tingles and had to workout.

After my workout I started to address Christmas cards and watched two Christmas movies before it was time for my kids to come home.

Soup and grilled cheese for dinner. Well the kids and Brian had grilled cheese and only Brian and myself had soup. I made a sweet potato gnocchi and sausage soup. It turned out delicious.

Anna had a make-up class for gymnastics. Friday nights are not ideal but it worked out in our benefit with Anna being the only one in her class so it was her own personal session.

Sneak peek at our outdoor lights. I will be doing a full Holiday House tour tomorrow.

Brian had to record a short video for work, he included Anna in it too. We had a relaxing evening at home with the fire going and Brian did some wrapping.

Saturday

Woke up at 7am to an oops to the elves. This was a first this year.

It was a morning of haircuts, and showers.

What do you think this image looks like? I get a ram curled up. (it is really a log in our backyard)

Our church had a parents day out from 10 to 330. We dropped our kids off then headed to the store the home to organize gifts and start wrapping. I also folded all the laundry. I swear there is so much.

I picked Anna up early then we headed to see a local production of the Nutcracker.

This was Anna's first play and ballet. She loved it and wants to be the Snow Queen, but doesn't want to take ballet and still wants to do gymnastics.

The play was about 2 hours. It wasn't snowing when we got there, by the time we were leaving my car was covered and the roads sucked. I am very thankful that I got new tires last week. I also had received a text from Brian that he had our friends daughters because she had gotten into a small accident (got rear ended) and was running late from picking them up from church. Thankfully no one was injured.

I had offered to watch another girlfriends kids while they went on a much needed / deserved date night. Our other neighbor friends also came over so we had a full house of kids.

We had a relaxing night while the kids played on tablets and Barbies with the fireplace going and Christmas movies.

Sunday

Service at church was our Children's Christmas program. Austin was Joseph. The kids didn't have lines they just had to stand and smile or do hand motions. The older teenagers did the readings.

Anna was the cutest little Angel.

After church we came home and relaxed for a little bit. I started baking bread. Between teachers gifts, bringing bread to Kentucky, and our personal consumption I need to bake 12 loaves this week.

The rest of the evening we hung out at our neighbors house watching the Browns game.
