How many times in your life have you said "I wish I would have known that before" after finding out something. If you would have known that, or listened to what someone told you the first time you would have done a situation differently. Here are a few I Wish I Had Known
- They grow up so fast doesn't have to be negative
- We all hear it, our kids grow up to fast. Don't miss out on xyz... I have learned that yes they grow up fast but each stage has different struggles and strengths.
- Dreams change
- And there is nothing wrong with that. When I was little I wanted to be a teacher and a hairdresser. I went to school for cosmetology and worked in a salon for 13 years then decided it wasn't meant for me in the long run. I loved being a stay at home mom but now that my kids are all at school I love being out of the house and helping out at our church but still being there for my kids when they need me.
- There is no right way to do anything
- From cleaning to routines to baking. As long as it works for you that's what matters.
- Relationships are hard and take work
- not just committed "marriage" relationship but also friendships. Some friendships are just for a season
- Kindness matters
- You will get farther in life with kindness over anything else.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO

Oh yes, I think I enjoyed each stage so much as they aged and acquired new skills. I had been dreading those teen years since everyone gripes about them so much but honestly the teen years were my absolute favorite (so far anyway!).
ReplyDeleteI have 3 in 3 different stages. If I had to pick based on all kids right now my youngest would be my favorite who doesn't have the attitude and talking about. But I do enjoy the talks when my teenagers are in good moods.
DeleteYes! I found myself nodding along in agreement to everything you said and you are so right that there is no right way to do anything. What works for you might not work for me.
ReplyDeletethanks
ReplyDeleteOh, I should have added there's no one right way to do things to my list. It has taken me forever to realize it is okay if my husband and daughters load the dishwasher differently. And being kind...that Golden Rule!!! Imagine what a wonderful world it would be if everyone followed it.
