January Intentions

Where is this month going? I can't believe it is already the 7th of January. I started this blog post on the 1st with coming up with intentions for the month, some things have already been checked off. Besides my January monthly Intentions, I am also taking a look back at December Intentions, 2021 Goals, and Daily Habits.




I shared on Wednesday my Word of the Year is Joy My yearly intentions are going to focus around bringing Joy into my life. What brings me joy.

  • working out for myself

Family
  • Watch lots of Christmas movies- yes
  • Date night for Brian's Birthday- yes
  • Enjoy the holidays- yes
  • Get back into a cleaning routine with the kids helping- no
  • Do one Christmas activity a week - yes
  • Finish Christmas Shopping- yes (not everything has arrived still as of 1/10)
  • Read Christmas Advent Book each day- no they opened the books but didn't read most of them
  • Mail Christmas Cards- yes

  • Finish Kitchen- no
  • Finish Stairs- no
  • Organize Christmas decorations when we put away- yes 
Me
  • Drink 80 oz of water a day- yes probably 75% of the time
  • Complete Transform 20- no 
  • Read 4 books- yes
  • Participate in Virtual Gym Burpee Challenge every day- no
  • Start planning 2021 goals/intentions/word - yes
  • Start deleting/organizing pictures on my phone- no

Monthly Stats:

    Books Read - 5 

Rings Closed on Apple Watch (two days are off because I got a new phone and had problems linking up my watch again)

Mindset Morning:

    4:30 am - Maybe 5 times. We have been having a hard time with Audrianna sleeping, I got lazy at one time, and life just happens. 



This year is about finding JOY. Doing things that make me happy but also getting stuff done around the house to hopefully sell and buy. I have a lot of things I want to do differently, goals I want to reach, things I want to accomplish, etc. Along with grace also comes with giving myself grace. Life is not meant to be picture perfect. 

 Family

  • Brian and I date night
  • Spend as much time outside
  • Family game night
  • Family movie night
  • Kids pick dinner

Home

  • Organize and put away all Christmas decorations
  • Go through both pantries, freezers, and fridge
  • purge bowls
  • finish kitchen
  • finish stairs
  • Compline a list of everything we would like to finish on the house

Me

  • Start using Portion Control containers and tracking
  • Workout 5 days a week
  • Start yearly devotional 
  • Start monthly devotional group
  • Read and delete or put e-mails in folders instead of sitting opening then letting sit there, unsubscribe from unwanted e-mails.
  • Dry January, giving up all alcohol starting January 4th 

Blog

  • Organize Blog Hops for the year
  • Have recipe posts done a week in advance

Instagram

  • Share 4 recipes
  • Share 4 reels
  • Get following back up over 5000

Health and Fitness Business

  • Start 5 ladies on their health and fitness
  • Share about the coaching business on Instagram


Daily Habits
  • Drink 80 oz of water
  • Get 30 minutes of movement
  • Read for 30 minutes
  • Less than 4 hours total on my phone
  • Take multivitamin
  • Drink nutrition shake
  • Close all 3 rings on apple watch
  • No electronics after 9pm
  • Eat all containers
