Eating Around the World

Hey loves.  I am sharing more of our Florida vacation. Today is all about Eating around the world, aka Epcot. Are you ready for another day of picture overload. Sorry not sorry. This was Audrianna's first visit to Disney World. I am still sad that they don't have real photo opportunities with any characters. Also why it may seem like I always had my phone in my hand. I promise that was not the case. I really enjoyed being present and watching their faces light up for different things that I did capture. I also went back through my photos and realized I didn't get picture of a lot of the day, but that is ok.

If you missed it you can read about adventure drive to Savannah and the Beach, our amazing Orlando Resort and Florida Fun, and a Day of Magic at Magic Kingdom

Disclaimer- this trip was no way sponsored by Disney. All opinions are my own.

A little later start to our day. Epcot didn't open until 11, we got into the parking lot and parked by 10:20am. At Epcot you park close to the park, no transportation is needed.

I love that every line and section of parking is named so you can find where you park. We took a picture because I have a horrible memory.

We got through security and into the park by 10:30am. You can only go so far into the park before cast members stop you to wait until they walk everyone back. We planned on making a day out of the Food and Wine Festival.

In front of Epcot Spaceship Earth is their new statue. I am not a fan of it, I like the old pillars they use to have.

We are ready for our day, but first we need coffee.

We headed back to World Showcase and road the Frozen ride. We walked right on. Once done we headed to look for coffee. Surprisingly their Starbucks was not open yet. Instead Brian found a Bourbon bloody Mary from the Swanky Saucy Swine. It was a bloody Mary with bourbon, topped with chili salt and bacon. He enjoyed it, I though it was gross.
At a Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company I got a Cocoa Cold Brew.

Next up was Soarin. Brian and Austin rode first, Ella and I rode second with the ride swap and not having to wait in the line. (even though it was only a 10 minute wait.

Lunch time. We made reservation at our kids favorite restaurant at Epcot, Coral Reef. We love it here, the service and food has also been great.

And you can't beat the view. The kids stay entertained watching all the fish. There were also divers in the tank this time feeding the fish.

The menu didn't include anything my kids really wanted, the chef made them each a plate of mac and cheese. I love that they are so accommadating.

After lunch was the Finding Nemo ride.

We also spent a lot of time walking around their aquarium. I took Ella and Austin into turtle talk while Brian walked around with Audrianna and she fell asleep.

While Audrianna was napping Austin and Brian went on test track. Ella and I enjoyed a smoothie some popcorn. Then Ella and I rode test track with rider swap.

It wouldn't be Epcot without riding Spaceship Earth. and a picture on the bubble gum wall.

Now comes all the food from the Food and Wine festival. This is Brian's favorite part of Disney World. I was disappointed this year in the selection, but what we did have was delicious.

Canada- "Le Cellier" Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle butter Sauce

Ireland- Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake

Japan- Tempura Shrimp Sando (we should have gotten 2 this was so good)

Japan- Teriyaki Chicken Bun

All vacation Ella had been trying to catch these fast little geckos. She finally caught one by it's tail. She was afraid to grab it's body. Then he peed on her and she let him run away.

Funnel Cake- Mini Candied Bacon Smores Funnel Cake (Ella loved this so much she didn't want to share)

Every time we go to Epcot we get a refreshing German Beer (that isn't just for the festival.) We like it so much that we occasionally buy it at home too. Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Grapefruit.

Our last food of the night. We were stuffed already but wanted to try this.
Hawaii- Kalua pork Slider, Teriyaki glazed Spam Hash (Brian ate this himself and actually said it was good and he would order it again) Tuna Poke.

We ended our night riding the Frozen ride again. (we opened and closed the park with Frozen).

I also bought the cutest backpack purse. It is the perfect size to work as a diaper bag and hold my essentials.

Day 2 of our Disney World trip was filled with lots of memories. We saw Aurora and Belle walk by and Audrianna got so excited. We only did two days at the parks on this vacation but it was perfect with having a 2 year old who needed to nap. We were able to see/ride pretty much everything we wanted to. We would have needed more time it character meet and greets where still available.

Still to come Disney Springs and On the Farm from our vacation.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
