Hello Monday on a Tuesday

Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had an extra long Thanksgiving break. Last week my kids only had school on Monday, makes for a crazy week. Now today we have a snow day.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday. Let's see what we did this weekend.

Tuesday

I recommited to The Ladies Edge. As their black Friday promotion it is only $37 a month. They also released a new 8 week kick start program and Pilates program that I am excited about. My body woke me up early so I decided to get my workout in before getting the day started and heading off to work.

Even though my kids were off school I had to go to work. I also had to get 2 days of work done in one day with the Thanksgiving holiday. It all worked out and I got everything I needed to get done for Sunday services.

The afternoon was low key kids playing on tablets and starting to clean the house to host.

Wednesday

Gusgus and Snowflake came back with their North Pole Breakfast.

I love that they keep it simple with snowmen donuts and fruit.

Everyone was still asleep so I went downstairs and got day 2 of my workout done.

My kids woke up to the surprise of their elf friends. They also woke Ella up too but she didn't want a picture.

I baked bread, rolls, and cookies.

Ella requested to go to Half Priced Books. She needed a book for the third quarter ELA assignment and she wanted to see about getting the Twilight series. I remembered we had a Goodwill Bookstore that we had never been to so decided to check it out.

We hit the jackpot. The store was so organized from ages and genres. Ella found the four Twilight books in the series and they were only $4 a piece. They also had unopened Lego's that were also $4, and I grabbed my other two a few books for Christmas too.

Brian was cleaning, prepping, and started decorating. I didn't have a real plan for dinner so we opted to run and get buns to have chicken sandwiches. While we were there Brian called to grab more Christmas lights that one strand was out.
Ella was also complaining she was cold... she is the one that insisted on wearing flip flops because she didn't want to go find socks. Oh the life with a teenager.

Ella decorated the Disney tree because she will not be here on Friday to decorate the rest of the house.

More Lego fun, Brian helped Anna finish her Moana Lego set and did another bag with Austin of his Star Wars set.

I enjoyed curling up by the fire reading a book.

Thursday

I thought they were trying to stop Gusgus from going to the North Pole to report to Santa that someone was being bad. I was wrong. They turned Gusgus into a Macy's Day Parade balloon.

Day 3 of working out.

We all watched the parade. Anna and Austin played on their tablets while the parade was on but did look up and see the floats and balloons. I only got them to stay downstairs and watch was K Pop Demon Hunters were performing.
I loved the parade and all the performances.

Lily Fox nail wraps for a quick design before everyone came for dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving. Ella went to her dads but we got a family picture first.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with so much food. There were 19 of us that year. Austin even ate mash potatoes and sweet potatoes, he claims he doesn't like potatoes only French fries.

Friday

Gusgus and Snowflake didn't get any turkey on Thanksgiving, so they decided to roast their own turkey. (I don't ask questions anymore)

Day 4 of working out. I love that the kickstart program I am doing is 5 days a week.

It snowed on Thanksgiving and the roads were crappy when everyone went to leave. It is gorgeous thought.

It snowed on and off all day Friday. We spent the day decorating for Christmas.

Austin asked to go outside and shovel the driveway and Anna wanted to help.

They stayed outside for over 30 minutes, but my driveway did not get shoveled. They did have fun playing though.

Anna decided the tree skirt is an Anna tutu. I am surprised it fit around her, but she is a little peanut.

Anna was also daddy's little helper why he put the angel on the tree, she made sure he didn't fall.

The rest of the afternoon we ended up at our neighbors house for dinner, the kids playing, and booked a cruise.

Saturday

Gusgus and Snowflake brought a painting craft.

I had the cutest workout partner. The workout was 3 rounds of 3 sets. She lasted through 2 rounds then did her own moves.

It's game day.

O H I O

Anna and Austin had a birthday party at a karate place.

They learned some karate moves

Then had a nerf gun fight.

After the party we went back to our friends house to watch the rest of the Ohio State game, then the kids played.

Sunday

I think Gusgus and Snowflake are hinting that we need to finish decorating the tree. (we had to buy more lights 3 strands were out)

Sunday was a busy day of church, headed to a friends house to see her new place and let the girls play for a while. Then headed to our friends to watch the Browns game and the kids play.

It was a busy long weekend.
