Hello Monday

Hey loves. Happy Monday. Can you believe it is the last week of April? Mother Nature stuck to the April Showers themed for this past weekend. I am ready for all the May flowers and warmer temps. With all the rain we had two baseball practices cancelled and no real plans. I am doing a quick recap I didn't take many photos.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday

Friday

Kids were off to school, Brian was off to work and appointments. I had a quiet house to myself to get things done. Fridays have been my days to do all the things on my to do list from water the plants, laundry, vacuum, etc.

The day started off gorgeous so I went outside to get organized for Maycember. Making sure everything is on all 3 calendars. (digital that Brian and I share, personal daily agenda, and dry erase that my kids look at )

Before my kids got home from school I went grocery shopping and ran into Target. I saw these red boots that Ella would love but she doesn't like the price tag. I love that she is frugal at times.

By the time the kids were getting off the bus it was pouring. I drove to pick Ella up from the bus stop. I had to stand outside for Anna and Austin. The temp was also quickly dropping from 80 to 60 when the kids got home. All the heavy rain that keeps coming canceled Austin's baseball practice. We ended up spending the evening at our neighbors with the kids playing.

Saturday

I was excited for a low key day at home getting things done and relaxing. It didn't happen that way, but it was still a great day.
Brian had to go check the field for baseball (he is the head coach). He offered for us to go with him and also grab bagel sandwiches from Brueggers . The fields were swamps so practice had to be cancelled again. We grabbed breakfast then got gas from Costco. Brian was all for doing something else but I had bread on the counter that needed to be separated after bulk fermentation all night, and Anna was not wearing sandals and a skirt with temps in the 50s. We did not prepare to be out all day.
We got home and the kids went straight to tablets, I worked on my sourdough and cleaned the kitchen and read for a little bit.
My girlfriend asked if I would watch her daughter while she took her son to his soccer game. She had broken her arm and it somewhat raining out and cold. Anna and her played Barbies and dolls while they were gone.

After soccer my girlfriend and her son came over. The boys ending up playing Legos and cars for a while. We had Thai for dinner and chicken nuggets and fries for dinner.
Anna and her friend took a bath and I washed both of their hair. This is two weeks in a row we have done baths, hair washing, and braids to get a little girl to wash her hair and take a bath. (she is afraid with her cast but likes Anna as a distraction.)

After baths Brian ran to the store and grabbed cookie dough to make chocolate chip cookies. Anna also wanted milk. She looks adorable with a milk mustache.

Since Brian's plans got cancelled for the and it was cold and rainy Brian cleaned out the garage. It looks so much better.

Sunday

Austin had a sleepover with his friend and they were up before 630. They asked for tablets but I said no because then they would fight me on getting ready for church so I was mean.

Anna's drawing on her drawing tablet during service.

Got an action shot of Anna dancing. Our neighbors and their kids also joined us for church and had a good time. The highlight is always the dancing and playing instruments at the end.

I had to run to the grocery store to get a few things for the week. I got sidetrack when I saw this orange lamborghini, one of my dream cars.

I turned down a street to follow it. Next thing I notice I am getting passed by another orange car and realized it was a Lamborgini Urus. I went home and told Brian I find my next vehicle, we would only have to sell the house then I could pay cash for it.

We spent the evening with our neighbors watching the Cavs game while the kids played. We ended the night playing Rummy 500, and I won coming from starting off in the negatives.

Overall we had a nice weekend that felt somewhat like normal with the chaos and stress of other things going on behind the scenes.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
