Hey loves. Happy Monday. It is officially May, even if it doesn't feel like it. It is a three post day. We got Meal Planning Monday, Amazon Lately April 2026, and Hello Monday 5.4.2026. So much going on.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday
Friday
It was a cold rainy crappy day. Not what is expected from the first of May. Temps were in the 40s. Brian's truck was in the shop for an oil change so I was at home without a car, as he took my van. I did my normal Friday routines of laundry and cleaning up around the house. I also had some real estate marketing work to do. The went through all of Austin's clothes and got rid of a few things and rearranged his dresser for warmer weather.
After Brian's truck was done we picked it up and I headed grocery shopping while Brian had some other work to do.
Brian had plans to go out and watch the Cavs game with his childhood friend. Austin. Anna, and myself ended up at the neighbors for a little bit for them to play together.
Saturday
It rained all night on Friday night into Saturday. Brian went to check on the baseball fields and see if they were playable. When he got home he noticed a rather large coyote running across the street. I caught him in the wood. Notice the little ponds in the woods. Austin's baseball diamond was a pond as well, baseball was cancelled at the field, but they improvised at the last minute and the coaches paid for them to go to the batting cages.
Brian did bring home bagels for breakfast. Notice the cream cheese on someone's forehead. She must have been saving it for later.
Brian and Austin went to baseball and Anna built herself her own house in the living room. All the flowers are decorations I have throughout the house, as well as the HOME letters she stole too.
She made herself a comfy space and even got herself a snack.
After baseball, Ella and I went out for a lunch date for sushi and shopping at Target.
We came home and the neighbor kids were over for a play date and celebrating Cinco de Mayo early.
The girls moved the house from the living room to the bedroom, then played games in the living room.
All the fixings for a taco bar.
We ended the night playing Rummy 500 and taught Ella to play too. Brian ended up winning.
Sunday
Church with all the dancing.
Brian tooked in the garage on the shed doors, I pulled weeks, the kids played, and I had a little nap.
We ended the evening at the neighbors for Indian food for dinner, a game of Rummy, where I was winning by over 100 but we stopped early because the Cavs game was on.
We had a great weekend.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
