Friday Favorites

Hey friends. We made it to Friday. How was your week? We had a great week with lots of friends and sunshine, then much needed rain and time to catch up on everything I didn't get done because we had between 6 to 10 kids everyday. I love that our house has become the hangout house the last week. I also love the slow days that it is just Anna and me just decompressing from the craziness.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Family night with our church at the Cleveland Monsters hockey game. It was Anna's first hockey game and our first family time in a while. We had a great time even though the Monster's lost.

Anna talked Ella into getting her face painted.

This was the highlight of the night for Anna, getting her face painted with a Monster that isn't scary. She also got a tattoo that is still on her arm a week later because she won't let me scrub it off.

Ella had gift cards and money burning a whole in her pocket that she got from her birthday last October and Christmas. We spent some mother daughter time running amuck at different stores.

A Monday with 70 degree temps calls for inviting all the neighbors over (which really means two families) for hot dogs over the fire, a few drinks, and the kids running wild and jumping on the trampoline.

Even with all the negativity towards trampolines this has been one of the best investments.

~ FOUR ~

Another 70 degrees day we are outside enjoying the trampoline. I had the girl I watch a few days a week, then ended up watching my niece for the day also because of a death in the family. They 3 of them got along so well.

While they played I enjoyed the sun and got some reading done. I tempted putting on shorts, then the clouds rolled in, it stormed, and the temps dropped.

They also enjoyed digging in the dirt and bringing me worms.

~ FIVE ~

I got a new purse that I love and it fits everything in it and then some. The top also zips closed and it comes with a crossbody strap also. Perfect to take everything and anything I need for mom life.

Seriously my laptop fits in it, the bottom strap is to hook it to a suitcase.

I did say everything will fit. The inside is waterproof and has two cupholders that fit 40oz tumblers. It is a large Michelle bag in blush from Glass Ladder co.

~ SIX ~

I got my nails filled this week. I asked Anna what color I should get. She picked blue. I threw in some green to mix it up with St. Patrick's day and Easter.

Then she wanted hers painted too. She picked purple, blue and pink. She saw me taking a picture and wanted a picture too.

The hockey game sounds like a lot of fun and what a lovely evening around the fire.

  4. That does sound like a houseful; but lots of fun. That bag is huge! But I love that it's waterproof and holds tumblers inside.
