Instant Pot Whole Chicken
Ingredients:
- whole chicken 4 to 6 pounds
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp EVOO
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt/pepper
Directions:
- Place trivet rack in bottom of Instant Pot.
- Add chicken breast side up.
- Pour in chicken broth.
- In a small bowl mix, EVOO and seasoning. Using a brush, brush EVOO mixture on outside of chicken.
- Seal the Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure 6 minutes per pound and 15 minute natural release.
- Let chicken rest an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve
