 Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. February has been so quick, full of plans, heart breaking with so many celebrity deaths, and random sickness. 

  Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a busy weekend so with so many church activities, sports, and family time. Snow day calculator was wrong for today. It said we had a 99% chance of a snow day, well my kids have school. Good thing I didn't tell them.

 Hey loves. Where has the week gone. Just when I think we are going to have a normal week minus having off on Monday, there was a wide power outage that effected some of our schools and Ella got sent home after two hours. Thankfully she is old enough to be home alone and I could still go to work.

 How is it already past the middle of February. This month is flying by more than normal. We are counting down our days to vacation. Ohio has been having a false spring with temps in the 50s and some sunshine, I had the door open one day. It is the little pick me up my soul needed. Then it is going to get cold and snowy again before we leave. Such a tease.

 Hey loves. It's Friday. Vacation is in our vision and we are all ready for the slow down. Today I have to finish packing, do the last of the laundry, and clean the house. Who else prefers to come home to no dirty clothes (besides what we bring home) and a clean house?

 Hey loves. Happy Friday. Happy Valentine's Day eve. My littles both have their parties today. I am not volunteering in their classrooms but I am volunteering to help check in all the parents, then I get to pop into their classroom for a few minutes. Brian and I are planning an early happy hour dinner tonight. Tomorrow we have basketball then having a game night with the neighbors. Maybe some relaxing, figure out grocery shopping, and pack some more for our cruise.

 Hey loves. It was a busy weekend and has already started the week off rough. Monday night Anna woke up crying with her ear bothering her. It was a rough sleepless night. I took her to the doctor Tuesday morning and she has an ear infection. It was a crazy day of cuddles and a sitter because I had to go into the office for a meeting. This month already seems to be flying by, hello it is Thursday and I meant to share this on Monday and Tuesday.

 Hey loves. How is your week going? We are finally warming up, started some prep for our vacation, and so many meetings between work and PTA.

 Hey loves. How was your weekend? It was a busy weekend with Ella's drama performance of A Wrinkle In Time 3 days, basketball, first communion for Anna, and hosting the Superbowl. I am ready for a day to myself, maybe Wednesday.

 Hey loves. It's Friday.  I jinxed myself at the start of the week by saying we were going to have a good 5 day week with my kids in school everyday. I had one child home sick one day. We have a busy weekend .It is show weekend for Ella's drama school play. 3 more performances (one was last night), Anna has her first communion, and we are hosting the Super Bowl.

Hey loves. New Year and back into book reviews. I got overwhelmed last year and stopped doing the reviews and didn't read as much as I would have liked. This year is already off to a better start. I am going to keep my reviews simple his year.

 Hey loves. Who doesn't love wandering around Trader Joes with a coffee and no time limit or kids. After a few weeks of the kids having off way too much and crazy cold temps a trip to Trader Joes is the little happiness for my day.  

 Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. I jinxed myself by saying we were going to have a full five days of school for all the kids this week. I have one child home running a fever, one with a cold but tells me it's allergies and they are fine, and a third that fought to go to school (really just wanted to be home with sick sibling) 

Getting this post out late on Tuesday after spending all evening working on an annual report for work. It did not go as planned. Copy and paste wasn't formatting right, I didn't have the images I needed, etc. but I got it done. Now I just have to edit requests and publish them for our congregation.

 Hey loves. Happy February and Monday. We are having a heat wave, aka it is not -10 anymore. I am hoping for a normal week with 5 full days of school and 3 full days of work. It is also performance week for Ella's drama club. She has practice Monday thru Wednesday then 4 nights of performances. 

January has been a no spend which really turned into a low spend month. Overall I feel like I did good on spending, we didn't eat out much, and didn't buy a lot of Amazon. I am comparing this mentally to the last quarter of 2025. We are preparing for our first cruise and needed a few odds and ends. Lets see what I bought in January from Amazon.
