Friday Favorites

Hey loves. It's Friday and Halloween weekend. My kids (minus Anna) have off Monday so it is a long weekend too. Ella will actually be camping with her Girl Scout troop this weekend and having so much fun. I have some fun planned for Anna and Austin this weekend too. Hopefully Anna is feeling good since she has been under the weather half the week. But first lets see what fun we got into this past week, hint pumpkin and parties and candy...

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

This picture doesn't do it justice the vibrate orange, gold, red, yellow colors of this tree. It is on the list of trees to be cut down in the next round and I feel like it is yelling, NOOO I'm Beautiful.

~ TWO ~

The boys went to soccer so the girls went for a walk. Anna hadn't had a nap so she fell asleep on the walk. It was a gorgeous evening in the 70s. (as there was a family playing in their yard that had on winter coats and hats)

~ THREE ~

We carved our pumpkins. Ella did the mermaid all by herself, no help at all. Austin picked out the Star Wars design and Brian carved it. Anna stuck the face where she wanted it, each piece was a different cut out, and I carved it.

~ FOUR ~

The fun of running and jumping in the leaves. They were outside for hours this past week just playing in the leaf pile and getting along.

~ FIVE ~

We took the kids our to eat for breakfast last weekend. I can't remember the last time we went out to eat somewhere, all of us besides vacation. I brought them each a pencil and small pad of paper to keep them entertained and it worked. Usually we are giving up our phones or the kids are fighting etc. They were so well behaved, were polite and even ate their breakfast.

  2. Sounds like a lovely week. I can’t believe that beautiful tree is going to be cut down, how sad! Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. I know it is always the beautiful trees that are causing the most problems.
