Vacation 2023 Day 1 and 2

Hey loves. A day late on this post. Sorry if you were looking for it yesterday. I came down with a stomach bug that had me down and out for the count for 36 hours. Brian was worried he would end up taking me to the ER for fluids. Thankfully I am feeling better and getting my energy back. I am also so grateful no one else in the house got what I had, we are possibly thinking it was food poisoning but not 100% sure. Now onto....

I starting to recap our fun 11 day vacation. We drove from Ohio to Florida and back. It was gorgeous, hot, and no rain (minus one day) what more could we have asked for, especially going to Florida in the summer where is usually always rains. We hit up two different beaches, a few Disney parks, Disney resorts and more.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. Vacation is over, and summer is in full swing. We have been having so much fun. I thought I was going to be freezing going from Florida with temps in the 100s to Ohio with temps in the lower 80s and upper 70s. I was wrong.

If you are a newsletter subscriber of mine make sure you check out tomorrow's newsletter. I have a few goodies to share, one of which is a new company with the cutest products.  If you aren’t a current email subscriber, you can sign up HERE, and I’ll share the same thing in Saturday’s newsletter as well for you too.

Saving Money on a Road Trip

Hey loves. How is your summer going? We just recently got back from a road trip from Ohio to Florida. On the way there we had planned to drive (yes we are nuts and yes all 3 kids went with us) but ended up getting a hotel for 5 hours because we left earlier than originally planned and had some time to waste before we could get into our hotel. On the way home we made two stops in Tennessee.

Going on a road trip can get expensive, especially if you are prepared in advance and buying food along the way. Which we ended up doing and spent more money than we wanted and got fast food that made me feel blah. Sometimes we have to learn from our mistakes. Next year when we go cross country we will be more prepared.

Mom Life with Adrienne 14 years

Hey loves. It is so crazy to look back and see that 14 years ago yesterday I published my first  blog post. At the time I was blogging at All Adrienne at adge21.blogspot.com I had 329 published posts over there and have since had 2019 posts over here, for a total of 2348. That is a lot. (At one time I even had a blog just for recipes too.)

It started as sharing my journey with being a newlywed, infertility, home ownership, having a baby, getting a divorce, more kids, more houses, more adventures and lots of pictures. I love sharing and connecting over the years. I have friends from all over the country that I met blogging. At times it feels like work but I love it.

Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. I am so glad we have a late start to our day. Yesterday was a long day at Disney World Magic Kingdom. We have a more relaxing day planned today with a character breakfast which is really brunch after 11 and going to the gulf coast which we have never been to. I think Brian is most excited to go to the gulf. He keeps saying there is more in Florida than just Disney World. I don't believe him. How is your week going?

Birthday Wish List

Hey loves. It's my birthday month. Who else use to celebrate the whole month as their birthday? My birthday is the end of June so I push my luck on it being for a whole month and sometimes into July too. I remember growing up whenever my birthday hit, 4h of July was a few days later than bam it felt like summer was over even though we didn't go back to school until the end of August.

I can hardly believe that I am turning 38, I still feel like I am 21 maybe that is because I never grew up. But boy do my kids make me feel old at times. I never really ask or even expect much for my birthday but I always have a wish list in mind. Some realistic and some I'm dreaming.
