November Monthly Musing

Hey loves. Happy last day of November. Tomorrow starts all the real fun holiday traditions. My kids are already asking about their chocolate advent calendars, and wanting to read our Disney advent calendar books. I love their excitement for the little things that also bring me joy.

Today I am linking up for this month's monthly musing with Patty and Holly

What's Up Wednesday November Edition

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. Thanksgiving is past and Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye. I had hoped for a slow month that turned into a month of house projects, high stress, and a wonderful holiday with family.

It's that time for Wha'ts Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of November here's what's up...

Christmas Bucket List

Hey loves. It is hard to believe that Christmas is 27 days. Our house is already decorated, my kids have made lists and we sat down and made a list of fun things we would like to do this Christmas season.

Dinner Menu Monday Week 163

Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. I am bringing you a dinner menu Monday on a Tuesday. After a crazy holiday, then throw in a little sick princess that wants mommy cuddles, I didn't get around to making our menu over the weekend. Yesterday on Instagram Stories, I have saved it to a highlight, I shared my process of meal planning for the week.

North Pole Breakfast and Thanksgiving Wrap Up

Hey loves. Happy Monday. I didn't mean to disappear last week. Getting everything done before hosting Thanksgiving became a lot more stressful and work that I ever anticipated. I would NEVER recommend remodeling before hosting. I am very thankful it is done for the time being until after the new year. (there is still some touch-ups, baseboards, and a few odds and ends we want to fix)
Its Monday and we are back to reality, back to life, back to work, back to school. But throw in a sick kiddo to the mix. It wouldn't be a holiday without at least one person getting sick.

Hey loves. It is hard to believe it is almost Thanksgiving. My turkey is already in the fridge thawing and my kids are already on break. Anna and I made a recent visit to the library where she picked out mostly Thanksgiving themed books. They had a special section for all Thanksgiving and Thankful and Grateful books. She grabbed a bunch.

Life Lately

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How is life for you right now? It is the calm before the holidays for most. I thought we were going to have a low key November, boy was I wrong. There is so much going on in our lives it is crazy right now. Lets jump in with some updates. (in random order)

Dinner Menu Monday Week 162

Hey loves. Happy Monday and Happy Thanksgiving week. Our weekend was crazy, I am tired of crap food but haven't been home or have much of a kitchen to make much. This week will be all over the place I can already tell.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. It has been a crazy week working on home projects. I am happy to be done removing wallpaper from our living room and part of the kitchen. I am dreading eventually removing wallpaper from the rest of the kitchen, the office, our foyer and kids bathroom, plus one day the master bedroom. None of those rooms are getting done this year. I cant wait to see the finished product of our living room and dining room though. My house is currently a disaster, we don't have a table to eat at, rooms echo, floor is down to subfloor so we are all wearing shoes, Anna has taken oven my office with her toys so she has somewhere to play on the main floor (and the office still has carpet). It is all giving me anxiety. But we still had a good week.

Hey loves. How are you doing on your holiday shopping? I have gotten a bunch for my kids but no one else.

Coming up with a realistic list for myself at times can be a struggle. When I need something I buy it for myself. I also have the habit of having buying something for myself, wrapping it and saying it is from the kids. Its a win win. Here are some ideas for the ladies in your life.

Not Just A Mom Comfort Food

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We are over here knocking things off our to do list in preparation for hosting Thanksgiving. These are projects we had planned on doing eventually but this gave a kick in the butt to get it done and a deadline to get it done by. All I have to say is I hate wallpaper, I hate contractors who take shortcuts and do stupid work, and I don't know if my fingers will ever not have glue on them. Why would you not paint before apply wallpaper so we are ripping off dry wall, why was the fireplace put in after the baseboards and wallpaper? So many questions.

It's the second Monday of the month which means it's time for Not Just A Mom link up with these amazing ladies: DaraJenJoannaLauren, and Sarah.

Dinner Menu Monday Week 161

Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a productive weekend working on house projects. Today over on Instastories I am sharing how I meal plan each week for dinners. Meal planning has helped my sanity during the witching hours, saved us money, and stopped the million questions of whats for dinner. (Our menu is posted in the kitchen so my kids don't ask me a million times what's for dinner. Here's our Dinner Menu for the week.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. I think it is Friday at least. I get so thrown off when my kids have a day off school. My older two had off on Monday, then Anna fell asleep 10 minutes before we were suppose to leave for preschool so she was home too. Day light savings is throwing me off and I want to go to bed around 430. My positive I have gotten up early 4 days this week and got some quiet time and a workout done.

Hey loves. Who else is already tired of all the commercials on tv for kids toys?  The one streaming service we have plays the same commercials over and over again. Every time this certain one comes on, Anna drags me into the living room "I want this". It is a toy that isn't even for her age which is playing during a preschool show. Sorry but she won't be getting that for the holidays.

8 year old boys is a fun age to buy for. Here are some fun ideas that boys are going to love.

Lets Look Top Comforts in Life

Hey loves. How is your week going? My kids had off on Monday for a professional development day and I can't tell you what day it is. Last week I was off too with Halloween in the middle of the week. Maybe after Christmas things will slow down.

Today I am linking up with Erika and Shay for Let's Look.

Hey loves. The holidays are coming quick. We have received the Walmart and Amazon holiday toy books, and so many emails with deals going on already. My kids have already made their Christmas lists to give to Santa and family. (even though I know they will add more). Preteen girls I think are the hardest age. They don't play with anything, but not a full teen yet.

Dinner Menu Monday Week 160

Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. Yes a crazy week and weekend. Bringing you this weeks menu on a Tuesday. Last week I didn't share a dinner menu Monday. it was a crazy weekend and I didn't end up making my menu until Monday and even on Wednesday and Thursday I changed what we were having. I did however film a grocery haul and talked about our game plan for the next week or so. Be sure to check it out on my youtube channel

This week we are still mostly eating out of the freezer. I say that as we have no ground beef or ground turkey so I will have to buy some for tacos as requested by Austin.

Amazon Lately- October

Hey loves. Happy Monday. Anyone else already start Christmas shopping on Amazon? With that I am not sharing everything I bought this month because some are Christmas gifts and those people may read my blog. Anyone else having a Love/Hate relationship with Amazon deliveries already I have had numerous items that said they were out for delivery then get delayed and not show up for 2 or 3 days later. Thankfully nothing was in dire need to have on the delivery day but still aggravating.

I am linking up with Tanya over at The Other Side of the Road Prime Purchases. Lets see what I ordered:

Friday Favorites Happy November

Hey loves. Happy November. We went from Halloween to Christmas well really just snow overnight on Wednesday morning. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?
