Monthly Wellness- May
May is coming to an end. How has your month been? This month has seemed very off for me. I have also had a few friends that also said it felt off to them too for whatever reason. This month has not gone as planned to say the least. I was far from the "best version of me".

5 Questions
It has been a while since I did a 5 questions post. Over the weekend I posted on Instagram stories to get some questions for today. Do you follow me on Instagram?
Columbus Day 3
Part 3 Day 3 of our mini vacation/road trip to Columbus that we took over Spring Break.
Our third and final day on our mini vacation in Columbus. We enjoyed a quick breakfast at the hotel of muffins and yogurt. We packed up our room and headed out. Our first stop with Ikea. This is one of the places I had planned for our trip, we don't have an Ikea closer and Brian had never been to one. We had a lot of fun walking through the store. My kids were not impressed. I could have spent more time there, we did spend a good hour walking around. We only bought a few things: dining room chair cushions (which we love), new small kitchen glasses, and I forgot what else. There was a lot more I could have bought too.
Meal Planning Sunday Week 50
Happy Sunday. I have been sharing my weekly dinner plans for 50 weeks (not all in order) Some weeks are the same thing, like Tacos every Tuesday, other weeks I switch it up and try new recipes. Here's what we have planned for this week.

Summer Bucket List 2021
Hey loves. We are counting down the days until summer is officially here. The kids and I sat down and came up with a fun bucket list of things to do this summer. Austin will be in summer camp two days a week all summer in the afternoon, so that does limit when we can all do something. We have decided to do this to keep him going with his speech and preparing for Kindergarten. Ella wants lots of sleepovers and play dates. Here is what else we came up with:
Tuesday Talk- Coffee Talk
Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. How was your weekend? We spent our weekend outside for the most part doing yard work. Pulling weeds, planting flowers, cutting the grass.... This is the first year in a few years that I helped with the flower beds. I have to say it was kind of relaxing.
Today I am joining in with with Erika for Tuesday Talk. Today is just a bunch on randomness like a coffee chat.
Teacher's Gift Guide

It is hard to believe that this school year is coming to an end. Boy has it been a year on so many levels. Our school district started off fully virtual, eventually transitioned to two days a week hybrid, and finally back to 5 days a week. Our kids still had to wear masks, were spaced apart 3 to 6 feet, and didn't go to different class rooms for music, art, library, etc. Teachers, parents and kids all deserve a huge party for everything they had to deal with.
I always buy my kids teacher little gifts through out the year, from coffee gift cards to candy. I personally stay away from anything that says "teacher" since most teachers have an abundance of teacher gifts. I also never do anything with my kids picture/name either.
Here are 5 things ideas for teachers this year that they will appreciate.
Meal Planning Sunday Week 49
Happy Sunday. Hope you are having a great weekend. The weather is gorgeous in Ohio and suppose to stay this way all week. I am loving it.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. Happy Friday. How has your week been going? I have been dealing with a sick little girl the last few days. She has been huggy, whiny, cuddly, runny nose, just wants her mommy, low grade fever... We spent most of Wednesday cuddling on the couch watching Moana 4x. Thursday she was feeling a little better and let me get stuff done around the house.

Mother's Day Rewind
Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. How was your Mother's Day weekend? Did you get to relax and everyone take care of you? Doesn't that sound wonderful. Lets picture sitting on the beach with a iced drink next to us with a good book to read, no screaming kids. Maybe even a hot guy with one of those big leaves fanning you off. That sounds like a good dream but not reality. At least not for me.
I did have a great Mother's Day either way. But I still somehow ended changing poopy diapers, wiping poopy butts, wiping runny noses, and giving baths. Mom life never stops even on our day, especially on a Sunday with having school the next day. The kids did help out around the house, and Brian made all the meals and did dishes. I will take that as a win.
Bedside Book Review- April

Hey loves. Happy Tuesday. Today I am sharing my book reviews from April. Before I start sharing what I read last month, I want to talk about kids summer reading. We all know the keeping the kids reading over the summer (and all year) is important. I just signed my kids up for two summer reading problems. Having a little incentive to reading can't hurt.
The one reading program is through our local library. Most libraries do have reading programs for kids over the summer. Check with your local library there is usually a fun prize at the end too. Previous years the kids got free ice cream to our favorite local ice cream shop.
The other reading program is with Book It Program and Pizza Hut. Did you do book it when you were a kid? I remember getting a button with with stickers each month and getting a free pizza at Pizza Hut. The Book It Program is back this summer without needing to be associated with a school. The program starts June 1st but you can sign up now.
Not Just A Mom-
Hey loves. How was your Mother's Day weekend? We had a pretty low key weekend. The weather was cold and raining and just blah. It was nice to spend time relaxing. I am ready for a fun week ahead. Today is Not Just A Mom link up.
Meal Planning Sunday Week 48
Hey loves. Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day. Hope you are all a wonderful Mother's day either spending time with family or relaxing alone. The kids made me some memorable cards and papers from school. We are heading out soon to pass out presents to our mothers. Here's our menu for the week ahead.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. Happy Friday. It is finally Friday. Its the weekend YEAH!!!!!! Now I say this as I have one sicky at home and the weather is suppose to be crappy all weekend. Plans have gotten changed and we are probably having a very low key weekend at home. We don't even have plans with our families for Mother's Day. Mom Life never ends and we will make the best of it.

Columbus Day 2
Currently- May
Hey loves! Happy Wednesday. The week is almost half over. Yay. Now if the rain would stay away that would be great. Austin's first t-ball practice was cancelled on Monday, hopefully tonight's doesn't get cancelled again. Today I am linking up with Annie for another month of Currently. This months prompts are: consuming, exploring, getting, hoping, and seeing
Amazon Prime- April
What did we do before Amazon Prime? I was listening to a podcast the other day, I don't remember which one, but it was talking about how Amazon originally was a used book exchange website. Wow it has come a very long way from what it use to be. Did you know that about Amazon, I did not.
Lets look what I bought in April. Also linking up with Tanya.
May Intentions
Hey loves. I am so excited it is finally May. Warmer weather, more time outside, t-ball is starting, last full month of school, and lots of fun planned.
This month I did not do good with checking things off my list. I need to print off my to do list and post it somewhere I see it everyday so I remember to do things.
Meal Planning Sunday Week 47
Hey loves. Happy May. How is your weekend going? We are having fun as a family with lots of time outside. I switched up my grocery pick up this week and did it on Friday. More family time this way. I don't know why I didn't think of doing this sooner.
