Hey loves. Happy Friday. Its the end of April. My kids have about 5 weeks left of school. Summer will be here before we know it. Bring on the fun and warmer weather.
Our Week with Spring Break and Snow
Hey loves. Our Spring Break has officially come to an end. Kids have been back in school all week. Back to reality. new schedules, add in sports, and lots of fun.. We had a true Ohio weather for Spring Break from 60s to snow then 70s. Hopefully it was our last snow of the year. (fingers crossed)
What's Up Wednesday
Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. April has really flown by. My kids have about 5 weeks of school left and we are going on vacation in like 50 or so days. We are already over here counting down the days until summer.
It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.
On the last week of April here's what's up...

Realistic Mother's Day Ideas
Mother's Day in just around the corner. Sunday May 8th will be here quicker than a blink of an eye. I feel like it is early this year, but I could be completely wrong. It is just coming quick. Have you thought about what you want or are going to get for your mother/mother in law this year?
I saw someone on Instagram stories talking about how a lot of Mother's Day Gift Guides are not realistic for the average person. Are you going to be buying your mom make-up, vitamins, an apple watch, or an $100 blanket? I know I'm not. Here are some ideas if items I would buy for my mom or mother in law or have received myself.
Back to Reality
Good morning. How was your weekend? As I am typing this it is 5am. The first time in forever that I have gotten up this early. I am drinking my pre-workout and about to head downstairs to start Monday off on the right foot. I am on my last week of doing 4 Weeks for Everybody no impact workouts. I am loving the program pared with 4 Week Gut Protocol. I can't wait to share my results. I a getting my workout done early as I am getting the two girls I am watching in less than an hour. I know if I don't get it done before they get here it won't happen.
This past weekend was GORGEOUS. No rain with temperatures in the 80s. We spent 90 % of the weekend outside doing yardwork, cleaning the garage, going to the Farmer's Market, and playing. I did not get to sit down and get a new blog post up. Today you are just getting this quick update and cut smiling picture of two of my kiddos. I will be back tomorrow with some realistic Mother's Day ideas. I saw someone post Instagram a rude comment she received from someone saying that what she shared as a Mother's Day Gift Guide was nothing she would ever buy her mother. I am going to post suggestions of affordable, realistic items that I would give my mom, mother in law, or would receive myself.
Meal Planning Monday Week 93
Hey loves. Happy Monday. I'm bringing you another week of our meal plan. This is my fourth week doing the gut health nutrition program. I have been loving it, and feeling amazing. I was scared at first that how I would be able to keep up with eliminating certain foods and how the family would do with it also. It has been a lot easier than expected.
This week also starts Ella having sports Monday and Tuesday nights, and Saturday mornings. Austin's t-ball doesn't start until the end of May and he had his last football game yesterday. The Spring/Summer craziness of sports is starting. With that I plan easier meals on those nights to be sure we can eat and get out the door.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. We made it to Friday!!! Our Spring Break is coming to an end. The weather hasn't been the best with cold, rain, and a few inches of snow. At least this weekend is suppose to be in the 70s, hopefully no more snow this season. I am ready to start cleaning up the yard more, plant a few things, and clean out the garage.
A little late on my post today after a hectic evening yesterday. Austin cut open his foot and we took him to the urgent care to get checked out. He didn't need stitches but it is in a hard place to keep a bandage on we just need to keep it clean and keep an eye on it. Also Anna played in saw dust (you will see where it came from down below) and threw it in her hair and Ella's hair. They both then needed showers to get it out. Think sand in your hair that's gonna be there a few weeks.
I am back today with a few favorites from the week and linking up with with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.
Old Navy Haul
Hey loves. Sharing something a little different today. I am no way a fashion blogger. I wear the same clothes on repeat that I have had for years. Occasionally I buy new items. I recently went to Old Navy and bought a few items that I can't wait to wear once our weather gets warmer and not this 30 degrees and snow we have right now. I also grabbed an item I have been looking to get for a while. Lets take a look.
Hodge Podge April 20
Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. How is your week going? We are staying warm inside since Mother Nature decided to give us snow for Spring Break. I am joining Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond for Wednesday Hodpodge.
Easter 2022
Hey loves. Did we just celebrate Christmas or Easter? We just got a few inches of snow yesterday and it was freezing on Easter you would have expected it to be Christmas time, not Spring Break.
Meal Planning Monday
Hey loves. How was your Easter. We had a great time. I am slacking the last couple of weeks with posting weekly menu early on Monday. What better time than now to get this weeks dinner menu posted.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. Happy Friday. Today is my kids first day of Spring Break. We are heading to the zoo today and have some fun planned for next week too. I have also started watching two little girls a few days a week so I will have 5 kids, am I nuts? My sister and her daughter are also going so I have a little help. We have had a good week with some warm weather and lots of fun.

Meal Planning Monday on a Tuesday
Opps I forgot to share my meal plan for this week. I just finished week 1 of anti-inflammatory and healing my gut. I am feeling great. Last weeks dinner went well too. In week 1 you eliminate certain foods, and add others. Also all the veggies had to be cooked. In week 2 veggies don't have to be cooked so bring back my salads. I even made a delicious dairy free honey mustard dressing. Let's see what we have planned for dinner this week.
Not Just A Mom- What's for Lunch
Hey loves. Happy Monday. It is hard to believe that Easter is this coming weekend. We have our spring break next week too. I know a lot of other places had theirs in March or last week. I think ours is always the week after Easter. I am excited for the kids to be home for a week and to do something fun.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. Happy Friday. The weekend is finally here. This week seemed so long. Having a sick little one does not help. Plans got changed but that's mom life true and true. Even though it has been an off week there were still lots of fun and favorites. And we made it to the weekend. Let's make it an awesome weekend.
Monthly Intentions- April
Hey loves. Happy April. The saying April Showers Bring May Flowers better be true because we have started off this month with snow and rain. The temps this week are around 50, I would prefer a little warmer please. We have so much going on this month with Easter, Spring Break, and the start of more sports.
Let's take a look back at March Goals
Currently
Hey loves. Today I have a quick post which is good as I am typing this on Tuesday, Audrianna is sick running a fever and throwing up. I took her to the doctor yesterday and they said it is something viral. I am quickly linking up with Anne for another month of currently. This months prompts are: getting, going, planning, posting, and thinking
Weekend Wrap
Hey loves. How was your weekend? Ours was full of excitement that resulted in some tired kids off to school on Monday. They were making memories and having fun, which is what counts.

Meal Planning Week 90
Hey loves. Happy Monday. It has been a busy weekend. I am ready for a somewhat relaxing week, maybe but probably not. This week I start my 4 week gut protocol nutrition program to help improve my gut and determine what foods I have been eating that are causing: bloating, gas, skin irritations, strong sugar cravings, lack of energy, problems sleeping... So many symptoms that we take as normal can be signs of an unhealthy gut. I am eliminating certain foods, reducing others, adding in more plants, and adding in fermented foods. First lets take a look at my dinners for the last week and then I will share my dinners for the next week that are gut protocol approved.
Friday Favorites
Hey loves. Happy Friday. We had a short week with the kids having off on Monday. But it has been a rough week for whatever reason. We have a busy weekend with 2 birthday parties. Ella got invited to her first birthday party sleepover at her new school and we also have my nieces birthday party which is a skating party. Fingers crossed no one breaks anything.
