What's Up Wednesday

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. I am so ready for fall, to decorate, cooler temps (yesterday was horrible hot and sticky), and all things fall festival.

It's that time for Whats Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of August here's whats up...

Tips for Getting Out Of Fitness Rut and Favorite Fitness Apparel

Hey loves. Happy Monday. It is hard to believe it is the last week of August already. I am ready for Fall but now we are having temps in the upper 80s. Mother Nature teased us with cooler temps now it is hot again. I am just over here counting down the days until I can officially fully decorate for Fall. ( 7 days) Brian said I have to wait until Labor Day.

Today's post is a mod-podge of a bunch of health and fitness related things. First is an update on my journey, followed by tips for getting out of a fitness rut, favorite fitness apparel, and a discount offer. Lets dive in:

Meal Planning Monday Week 107

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We had a nice somewhat relaxing weekend after starting school and new routines I think we all just needed that extra break. With school back in session I changed my grocery shopping back to Fridays so my kids have food for Monday morning. What day do you do your grocery shopping?

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. We had our first week back to school. Overall they kids have had a good week. There were some hiccups of the bus in the morning with Austin and some rushing the morning that i Had to pick Ella up from her dads. It is going to be an adjustment with the new schedules.

First Day of School 2022

Hey loves. We survived the first day back to school for the two oldest. Anna actually has one more day of summer camp then we have a full week of just her and me then she starts preschool 3 days a week for two and a half hours a day. She is so excited.

Our week- the last week of summer

Hey loves. Guess what today is? My older two are finally going back to school. We are excited for all the things. I am excited for some one on one time with Anna again and more structure and routines.

Staying Organized- Family Calendars

Hey loves. My kids go back to school tomorrow. I don't know who is more excited them or me. Along with going back to school is a crazy schedule. Three kids at three different schools with different schedules, plus sports, PTA, and everything else. I need to be organized. I am a pen to paper girl, but we also keep a digital calendar that Brian and I share with everyone's schedules. I am loving my Happy Planner. I had one a few years ago then got away from it and bought other planners and always end up going back to the Happy Planner. Plus they have released Disney editions.

Trader Joes Haul

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? Mine was good. We are wrapping up things before the kids go back to school later this week. That included doing a Trader Joes run, not that I need an excuse to go to Trader Joes. My kids like some snacks for their and I like having throw in the over/ air fryer staples on hand. Lets see what we got.

Meal Planning Monday Week 106 Back to School Week

Hey loves. Happy Monday. My kids start back to school this week on Wednesday. This mama is such a mix of emotions this week. Anna actually doesn't start preschool until after Labor day but she has her last week of Summer Camp.

If you have been following along on Instagram and on my blog I have mentioned that I have been doing my grocery shopping, usually with Instacart on Monday's over the summer. Now that school is back in session and my kids will need lunches and snacks first thing Monday morning I will be doing my shopping on Friday's now. Also with Anna going to school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning I also hope to get a Trader Joes run in Friday's also.

The first week back to school I let my kids pick what they want on their first day. So technically Ella and Austin start on the same day, but on Wednesday Ella goes to her dads so Austin picked Wednesday and Ella picked Thursday.

Let's not forget our after school favorite snack: Banana Bread Squares

I wish everyone a wonderful back to school season. Here is what's on our menu this week.

Friday Favorites- last week of Summer

Hey loves. How was your week? It is hard to believe it is the last Friday of my kids summer. They start school next Wednesday. We had a lot of fun and did a bunch of things, especially the last few weeks, hopefully my kids don't go to school and say they did nothing all summer. I am sad that their summer is coming to an end, I am really looking forward all the back to school fun, fall festivals, and new adventures for this school year.

Hey loves. How is it the middle of August already. So far this month I don't think I have even picked up my kindle. I got one book from the library that I have been loving but I seem to read physical books slower. Anyone else feel that way? Lets take a look back at July

Total physical/kindle books: 4

Total audible: 0

Total books for 2022: 45

Hey loves. How was your Monday? Mine ended up being a lot crazier than I ever anticipated. Anna woke up way to early and threw off the morning that threw off the rest of the day. Ella had locker set-up that didn't go smoothly as her locked kept sticking so they are going to look into it. Out of probably 50 tries we only got it open about 7 or 8 times, the teacher struggled, we struggled, and the janitor struggled. There was also another issue that ended our evening on a  rough note. Thankfully everyone is ok and the situation is a big learning experience for all of us.  That being said I changed up todays post from what I originally had planned to some a little more fun (and less time consuming). I am stealing the idea from Lindsay over at Lindsay's Sweet World

Find Your Spark and Favorite Workout Gear

Hey love. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? I have a great weekend with an event and family time. It feels like my to do list is never ending and summer is coming to an end. As I type this it is in the low 60s, I want to wear a cozy sweatshirt, curl up with a book, and drink something pumpkin.

At the beginning of the month I shared about never being along on your journey, weather it be your health and wellness journey or motherhood. There is always a tribe behind you, sometimes you just have to find that tribe. I committed to sharing my journey along the way of getting back into my health and fitness routine as well as helping other women live life to their fullest, to be their best version of themselves, to feel confidence, to feel amazing, and to be stronger everyday.

Meal Planning Monday Week 105

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? It has been feeling like fall over here and not typical August weather in Ohio. Saturday morning it was 54 degrees when I woke. Sunday the temps didn't even get above 70. This cooler weather makes me want everything pumpkin and comfort crockpot meals. Lets see what we made on our menu this week.

Hey loves. Happy Saturday. Today I am off on adventure all by myself on road trip, stepping out of my comfort zone and heading to Columbus for Beachbody's Super Saturday. I am so excited to meet my team and learn about the new products and workouts that are being released soon.

I recently have had the opportunity to try a new probiotic by Bio-Kult. I have been taking probiotics regularly for the last few months but felt like my body needed a switch up.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. We made it another week. We have one more week left of summer and lots of fun planned plus all the before school start activities. This week we were a little more relaxed but productive. Tomorrow I am stepping out of my comfort zone, going on a road trip down to Columbus for Beachbody's Super Saturday. Not only will I will learning about new products and workouts coming soon but also finally meeting my team in person. This is my first time since having Audrianna, three years ago, going out and doing something for me. I am so excited for all of it. (and a little nervous)

Cleaning Schedule

 Hey loves.

We have been in our new house for 9 months already. It doesn't feel like that long. Little by little we are turning this house into our home with personalization, removing, new windows, removing trees, and so much more. We went from a ranch three bedroom, one and a half bath 1,612 sq ft house, to two story colonial 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bath 2,689 sq ft house. With a bigger house comes more cleaning. I feel like we finally got into a good cleaning routine, and I have the kids helping with little things too.

Back to School Prep

Hey loves. Back to School is quickly approaching. Who is ready for it? I know some kids are already back, some are starting this week, we start in 15 days, some are after labor day and everywhere in between. I have a mix of emotions: sad they won't be home with me all day, excited for them to learn and grow and see friends, nervous how everyone will adjust to new school and schedules, happy to start a new routine, etc. My kids feel the same. They have a big adjustment to make to waking up earlier and bed times.

Even though we are over here savoring and counting down the last two weeks we are also prepping to have a less stressful, successful school year.

Not Just A Mom

Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a great weekend that included checking a few more items off the kids summer bucket list, and another date night, two weekends in a row. Ella made the comment that we didn't need to go out again. We are lucky if we get one night out a month without kids, this will probably be our date night for the month.

Today is another Not Just a Mom Link up. If you are new- every month, the second Monday, I link up with these incredible ladies (DaraJenJoannaLauren, and Sarah )  and we share different aspects of our life. We are more than just moms. We would love if you blog, to link up, and share with us. Each month is a new topics:

Meal Planning Monday Week 104

Hey loves. Happy Monday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mother Nature is a little confused over here. Normally August is hot in Ohio, usually temps are in the upper 80s, low 90s. Next week temps are mid to low 70s. I am excited for some more so hot days to get outside and not melt.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. How is your week going? I feel like I a taxi with taking Ella to and from basketball camp and Anna having summer camp. We are over here planning out the last fun adventures of summer, knocking more items off our Summer Bucket List, and counting down the days. Ok maybe I am the one counting down the days for them to start back to school and new adventures and routines.

I am also over here itching for all things pumpkin and fall. Dollar Tree already has fall and Halloween stuff out and I have already been buying stuff and planning decorations for the house. This will be the first fall in our new house.

Our Week- with an adventure a day

Hey loves. Yesterday was a crazy day. We didn't have power on the hottest day of the year for about 4 hours. It completely through off our schedules and what I had planned to get done. Instead we spent the time school supplies shopping and went out to lunch.  Hence the late blog post.

Ella made the comment a few weeks ago "We haven't done anything all summer" which was only halfway true. I changed that real quick and planned something small everyday. And yes she may have complained everyday that we were doing something. (We have also planned some other things for the rest of summer now too) Let's take a look at the last weeks adventures.

August Intentions

Hey loves. We are over here enjoying our last few weeks of summer. The first two months were very no schedule, no alarm, no planning. That has already changed this month. My kids have to be up by 8am (Ella is a struggle) and get certain things done, but a chore each day. I am waking up, having a mindset morning, workout, to do list, etc. We are only a few days in and I am already starting to mentally and physically feel better. Sometimes we just thrive better on a schedule and consistency.

Hey loves. July was a big spending month, for whatever reason. For all my randomness, I am thinking of doing a No Spend September again, I did one a few years ago, and only buy what is needed. Would you be interested in joining in? Today  I am linking up with Tanya for some Amazon fun

Never Alone

Hey loves. Happy Monday and Happy first day of August. How was your weekend? We had a busy family filled Saturday followed by a somewhat more relaxing Sunday getting catch up on some things and preparing for the week ahead. I am ready to hit this month running while enjoying the last few weeks of summer.

I have been on the struggle bus with my mindset, how I have been feeling, getting my workouts in, and making time for me. I know I am not alone in this. I have been talking with other women who are on the same bus. I share this because it isn't talked about often enough. We as mom's put ourselves on the back burner and put everyone else's needs first. But as the saying goes, " You Can't Pour From An Empty Cup"

Meal Planning Monday Week 103

Hey loves. Happy Monday. Confession time. This past weekend I ate a bunch of crap. Food that I know upsets my stomach and shouldn't have been eating, and eating meal after meal day after day. I feel like crap, my stomach hurts, just blah. Why do we do this to ourselves, I know I am not alone. From having cheese to hot wings, deep fried, donuts, etc.

I have cleaned out my fridge, made a grocery list, and put an order into Instacart to prepare for a good week and eat foods that make me feel good.

What's on your menu this week?
