Homemade Seasoning- Taco and Ranch

A few months ago I started making my own seasoning and always having it sit around the house ready to go when I need it. One day I read the back of the package of a store bought taco seasoning mix and ranch mix. I was blow away by how much additives and sodium where in them. I tried to make my own by searching on Pinterest for recipes and came up with a recipe I liked. I was shocked by how easy it really was.

Taco Seasoning
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in.
2. stir or place lid on and shake, until blended.
3. Season meat of choice.

These cute little glass dishes are from Pampered Chef and come with tight lids. I leave the dishes sitting on the top of our stove.

Ranch Seasoning Mix:
Ingredients:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dry onion flake
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp dill
1 tsp chives

Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in.
2. stir or place lid on and shake, until blended.
