 Hey loves. How is it already the middle of July? My kids go back to school in one month. This summer and year has already flown by. I know this next month will also fly. We are trying to get as much fun as we can before school starts. Fall Ball is also starting back up, my oldest is running a program at the middle school so she has random days she will be at school, and who knows what else. 

Summer has not gone as planned, but we are making the most of it. 

 Hey loves. We have had a great start to our summer, it was a bit hectic and some unexpected things happened. We did go to the farm down in Kentucky for the last time before Brian's sister moves to California. I will be recapping that trip separate.

  Hey loves. Summer is in full swing. It's time for a summer break week 4 recap. 

Monday June 30

The day before was my birthday. We had company over until almost 11pm. Made for a late night. I set my alarm for 6am. I turned it off when it went off and mentally said I would get up in 5 minutes. An hour and a half later I woke up. Opps. Made for somewhat a rushed morning getting ready to go to work. No time to workout. I made breakfast for Brian and myself, got all our vitamins, made Austin breakfast and finished getting myself ready. I woke Ella up when I was ready to leave and let her know that Anna was still sleeping. 

 Hey loves. It is crazy to believe that June is already over. It's time for a summer break week 3 recap. 

Monday June 23

 Hey loves. Summer is here. It is time for another weekly recap. Last week was busy with Vacation Bible School, a birthday surprise, and so much going on. 

Monday June 16

Busy morning. I picked up Ella at 8am, came home finished getting myself and the kids ready to leave. Anna and Austin had their first day of Vacation Bible School at our church. They were there from 9 to 12 all week, so I worked all week in the church office the same time. 

Over the weekend we had lost power for maybe 20 minutes. When I arrived at Church, none of the printers and/or copiers were working, and our sign wasn't working either. I spent most of the morning getting everything back up and running. 

That afternoon Austin had a baseball game. His team won 10 to 9.

Tuesday June 17

 Hey loves. We are finally on summer break. Our last day of school was so late this year, my kids went until June 11th, compared to most other schools that got out a week earlier. Each week I am going to recap what we have been up to. 

Thursday June 12

 Hey friends. Do you also feel like summer flew by in a blink of an eye? Ours was a wonderful mix of busy and lazy. We didn't have a big vacation, just did more smaller things. 

I mentally look back and think we didn't do enough, we should have done a big vacation, we didn't check everything off our bucket list. Then I started thinking about all the things we did do, some of which wasn't on our bucket list. I asked my kids if they had a good summer and they said yes. Even though they are not all 100% excited to go back to school. (welcome to have a teenager) 

It is all about the memories of what we did do, and not dissecting what we didn't do or could have done differently. (picture overload)

Sunday June 30

 Hey friends. Last week I was on the solo parenting train. This is only the second time I had all 3 kids by myself with Brian out of town. Brian has a new job where he has had to go to California for training a 2x so far. There will be more in the future to different locations as well.

 I was nervous the first time he left. The kids were still in school, Austin had a broken arm, crazy schedules, new schedules with Brian not being here to help, and just our dependency on Brian. This time he went I knew it was going to be a crazy week, but I had my village at my finger tips if I needed help. I know I do a lot already on my own and I don't need Brian but it is nice to have the extra hands and my kids like their dad. Saying that I give credit to parents who solo parent, an/or are single parents doing it all on their own. It is hard especially with more than one kid and crazy schedules.

Sunday June 23

 Hey friends. I am sure you heard and may have even experienced last week was hot. Temps in Northern Ohio were in the upper 90s with the heat index into the 100s. Last week was also busy with schedules, which were pre-planned weeks in advance or I would have adjusted to the heat better. Some days I have more pictures then others, it probably meant I was driving a lot of the kids were in the pool all day and not much else going on. 

Sunday June 16- Father's Day

 Hey friends. What is the weather like where you are at? This week in Northern Ohio our temps are in the upper 90s. It is really feeling like summer. The air conditioning is on, the pools are up in the backyard, you run from the car to the store. 

We are on our second full week of Summer. It is a busy week.  Austin is in reading camp 4 days this week in the mornings (no school on Wednesday). Ella and Anna have safety town 4 days this week in the afternoon (no school on Friday). It will be a busy week driving back and forth plus the heat. 

We also had a busy weekend with sports, shopping, and two Father's Day cookouts. Yesterday I just needed a rest day as much as possible. (plus all the driving and getting the house back in order)

Summer is flying by, I know I keep saying that. We are already in August. We have so much going on this month. It has been crazy and I have slacking on taking pictures. I haven't been on my phone as much either, which has been a great break. Quick recap from the past two weeks.
