Spring Bucket List 2025

Hey loves.  Happy first day of Spring. I wish the first day of Spring meant with a snap of your fingers we were guaranteed no more snow and only warm days. Yesterday was gorgeous with temps in the low 70's. Perfect spring weather. My son even got excited talking about it is almost outdoor fire time (as if we didn't have a lot of indoor fires this winter).

As always my kids and I sat down and came up with a bucket list for this year. I broke it down into what I want to do and what they wants to do.

Spring Cleaning Checklist

It is officially Spring!!! Who else is ready to open some windows, air out the house, and do some spring cleaning? I know I am ready!!!!!

Spring Bucket List 2022

Spring is officially here. We have had some gorgeous days in Northern Ohio as well as snow, which is to expect until at least the end of April. It's time for the kids and I to sit down and come up with a fun bucket list of things we would love to do this Spring.

Spring Love

Hey loves. It is officially Spring. Now bring on the warmer days and no more snow. A girl can dream. i live in Ohio and know that we have a chance of snow until the end of April, sometimes even the beginning of May. However it doesn't stick around long and there are warmer days mixed in.

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We had gorgeous weather. I was able to get outside some, getting that air and those miles in for March. We also had our last weekend of basketball. Next weekend is suppose to start flag football for Austin. (Still waiting to hear all the details)

Spring is in the air, even though it isn't officially Spring yet (come on March 20). Snow is still in our forecast. Day light savings is in a few weeks away (March 13). I am ready for all things spring. What better time to share our favorite kids Spring books.

5 Day Spring Cleaning Challenge

Spring is here in full force. The birds are chirping, the weather is warming up, rain is falling, flowers are starting to bloom, and the days are getting longer. Spring Break is finally here for us, but Ella is away for vacation with her father. For me that means no schedule and lots of free time and one on one time with Austin. I am going to be productive and force myself to start nesting some and get this house cleaned. Here comes:

New Stroller

I ordered a umbrella stroller two days ago online from walmart.com for Aubriella. It arrived today. I didn't expect it until the end of next week. When we came home from the doctors I was surprised to see it sitting on the front porch.
I had done research about a month ago to see exactly what I wanted. First off and most importantly, I wanted something that would hold over 40 pounds. I was afraid she would grow to fast this summer and not be able to use the cheap ones. I also wanted something that had good reviews and was going to last. Price was also a factor. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg not knowing how long she is actually going to realistically use it.
The jogging stroller I've had since Ella was born is a pain. I didn't do research before we bought it. It was a splurge on a whim for a good price. You can't run with it, it shakes to much. The straps were starting to get fight and just didn't fit right. And Ella could escape out of it.
I ended up choosing The First Years Jet Stroller. It holds up to 50 pounds, is still an umbrella stroller, is lightweight, folds small, has higher handles, cupholders, and storage underneath. It also was under $50. When I was looking it up online there was a few different color options. I was going to go with a more gender neutral color but Ella came over and said I want pink. I caved and got her the pink one. (can you tell she is spoiled)
As soon as I put it together she got in it and loved it. She wanted to go for a walk but it was raining outside so we just ended up walking around the house. Ella ended up spending most of the day playing in the stroller. She sat in it to watch tv, drank her bottle and relaxed, played with her Minnie Mouse toys.... When she finally fell asleep we put it away.

New Month New Start

Its already April 1st. Where has the year gone? Back in February I decided to buy a new workout video, Slim in 6. I had borrowed it years ago from a friend and feel in love. At that time I wasn't ready to put forth the money to buy it. I made the commitment to myself that I want to get back in shape.

That was over a month ago and I haven't stuck to my commitment. I occasionally will do the video. I have although started eating clean. I limit my eating out and fast food. In the past month alone I have only had fast food once. I do however eat out once a week but I am still watching what I eat.
Now that it is a new month I am going to make some new realistic goals for myself. I am going to make myself accountable for a healthier lifestyle, to become in shape for myself and my daughter, I be comfortable in my own skin... I could keep going on what changes I want to make for myself.
I am going to start small and work my way up. I know I can't just expect myself to do it all at once. I know myself well enough that I will not do it.
Here are my goals for April:
- Exercise at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes a day
- Only 1 fast food trip

Personal Fitness Goals:
- Lose 5 pounds with an incentive of a new work out tank
- Fit in size 5 shorts with an incentive of new shoes

Now on a more fun personal level. For it being the first day in April it started off with a bang in the weather. I also had off which was a major plus. I started off the day by doing some cleaning around the house. After lunch I decided to take Ella to the park. She had a blast. She kept going down the slide and made a little boyfriend. I can't wait for more warm days to go outside and spend it with Ella.
