Saturday Randomness, Holiday Weekend Healthy Tips

I haven't done a Saturday Randomness in a while. I have so many fun memories I could post, here are a few.

One of our Mother/Daughter day dates we both wore our Minnie Mouse hats. I have been wearing my hat more and more.

Ella offered to vacuum the other day. I couldnt' say No.

Last week my back was bothering me and Austin decided to put his lunch in his hair. Ella decided she was going to help me give him a bath. She then told me to go away and did it all by herself. She is such a little mini-mommy.

She will always be my mini-me. Stealing my shake while at preschool drop off.

A few weeks ago we were are BJ's and I found this huge Mickey Mouse on clearance after Easter. I put it in the cart next to him. I was going to buy it but he deiced to throw it on the ground 3 times so I changed my mind.

Last weekend Girls Night In. Love my girls for a good fun laugh.

I have an obsession. We went to two different stores to buy these. They were on sale buy 1 get 1 free. I was originally looking for the Snow White flag, but our stores didn't have any.

Red Nose Day

Everyone loves my boots. Who doesn't love cutting the "grass" while wearing mommy's boots.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend. Here are a few tips to staying on track with your health and fitness while enjoying your weekend and holiday parties.

1- DON'T use the weekend as your rest day. Instead get your workout done early,  and get your blood flowing. You're more likely to make healither choices.

2- Drinks lots of water, and limit alcohol. Water will not only keep you hydrated, keeps you fuller longer. Plus you won't feel as bloated and don't have to worry about having a hangover.

3- Have a plan. Plan on only having a cheat meal, not a whole cheat day. Eat balanced healthy meals before and/or after your get together.

4- You don't have to to eat everything. Try a few bits of a few things. Don't over stuff your plate. Focus on fruits, veggies, and lean protein when possible. Limit dessert to 1 small piece.

Saturday Randomness on a Sunday

It has been a crazy fun weekend. Time has completely been blown away. I meant to get all these photos posted yesterday but that didn't happen. Saturday Randomness is happening a day late.

Ella was playing with play doh the other day. Made the ocean and the beach. On the Beach was an umbrella and a chair. I think she is hinting she wants to go to the beach.

Two weeks ago there was the huge hype over the Unicorn drink at Starbucks. Ella saw it on my Instagram and asked if she could have one. It was  treat for her. She did like it because she enjoys sour food, I didn't think it was horrible but I only had one sip. I will take my chocolate shake any day over all that sugar. Ella barely drank half of her small before it magically disappeared.

Last weekend we went to our local mall. There is a Disney store. If you know me that means we have to stop. Most of the time we aren't buying anything. Austin however had different plans this time around. His little eye caught Tigger and he grabbed it. It went straight for his house and he started hugging it. How is a mom to say no. He ended up hugging it that whole night and wouldn't let it go. Now a week later he could take it or leave it.

It is looking like spring outside our hour. I bought a bench to sit on instead of the rocking chair we previously had. This I feel is safer with my wild kids. I also weeded my flower bed (the one to the left) and planted flowers in my Mickey and Minnie pots. They are spring flowers so I will have to buy more in a few weeks.

I finally did it. I stood my ground the took the bottle away from Austin. I put them in the basement out of reach so I couldn't just easily go down there and cave and give it to him. It has been 6 days now with no bottle. He was ready and so was I. Austin's cup of choice is the take and go cups, and the Mickey Mouse sippys with the hard spout.

I am loving the gorgeous weather we have been having. I did a couple of my workouts outside while the kids were playing. I love being able to stream my workouts from anywhere. This particular one is a Barre inspire 20 minute workout.

Aubriella and Brian made me breakfast yesterday morning. It was eggs with veggies and cheese. She loves helping in the kitchen.

We are currently in the process of a few home projects. Today we replaced and prepped our shed to get ready to paint. To do this we had to move the wood pile that behind and next to it currently. Austin and Ella were huge helpers with carrying the wood. The wet, muddy, cold, bug infested wood didn't phase them in the least.

Saturday Randomness

It has been a fun filled week with lots of changes going on. (More on that coming soon) I worked on getting more pictures of Ella too.

3 days a week I drive Ella to and from preschool. Most of the time Austin takes his nap in the car. We get to the preschool a few minutes early. Instead of going in we sit in the car and talk and play on SnapChat.

I walked in Ella's room the other day cause I heard her laughing. She was playing with her play doh having fun.

This little girl is a true mini-me. A monkey wild child all the way around. While at my parents house the other day she kept climbing across the top of bar of there swing set, and hanging upside down from the support bars. I use to do the same thing, but the swing set we had when I was growing up was a lot more sturdy then this one.
Austin loves to swing and goes WEEEEEE!!!!

Ella decided to join me out back the other day while I was taking a few quick photos and wanted in on the pictures too.

Ella helped make pancakes with cookie cutters the other morning.

I have turned into a gymnastics mom. Ella started gymnastics two weeks ago and is loving it. If she had the choice we would be going everyday. She only goes right now one day a week for an hour a day.

Thursday night we had family movie night. Ella picked to watch Planes. Austin feel asleep hugging me 15 minutes into the movie. Ella feel asleep about 30 minutes into the movie. Don't ask me what happened cause I wasnt watching very well. It did remind me a lot of Cars.

On Good Friday since all the kids were off school we planned a play date. We ordered pizza, the kids played inside, outside, and back inside. Heather brought 2 of her 3 kids, one was at home running a slight fever due to getting his 18 month shots. Sarah brought Claudia also. Austin took a late nap and didn't last the whole play date. He feel asleep cuddling on the couch.

Random Saturday

Some photos and randonmess over the past few weeks. I noticed I take more pictures of Austin. I need to get more photos of Ella.

Austin loves to steal my headbands and wear them. Isn't he so adorable.

I love the random warmer days we have gotten this March, this winter in general. We enjoyed a night out at the fire a few weeks ago.

My handsome little man mowing the house.

I have a trouble maker on my hands who keeps me on my toes. His new thing is opening the oven and climbing in. (It wasn't on and hadn't been on. We have since locked it)

I just love when they are cute and get along,

He just loves watching the garbage trucks.

I took Ella bowling for the first time a few weeks ago. She did really well and had a lot of run. It was bumper bowling where she threw the ball down herself.

Saturday Randomness

Life as a mom, working from home, working out of the house, plus blogging.... can be crazy and hectic and so much fun. There are never enough hours in the day, or days in the week to get everything done. One reasons I started back up blogging again is as a reminder of life. What we are doing, what we have done. fun, struggles, dates, food .... Some weeks I could post 10 times to cover everything I want to. Other weeks it is a struggle just to get 4 or 5 blog posts up. Today is just some randomness of things that have happened this past week.

I know it is Wednesday when Austin is up on the chair looking out the window watching the garbage truck go by. Sometimes that is the only way I know what day it is.

Isn't he just so cute when he is sleeping. Yesterday he was fighting a nap. It was already 2 oclock and I had to get my workout in still and get ready for a crazy hectic evening. He crawled up on the couch with his bottle and put himself to sleep. That doesn't normally happen. We normally cuddle for him to go to sleep.

We finally got our pictures back from the photographers for our amazing Beachbody event with Sagi "The Beast" It was an epic experience that I took so many amazing take away's from.

I have had two of these cute Mickey Mouse leggings for over a year now. I can probably count on one hand how many times I have worn both of them. Two of which have been in the last month. I am embracing my craziness and love of Disney and wearing them more. They are so comfy.

I live in Northern Ohio by Cleveland. We are behind in snow by over 16 inches by the average. I have a love hate relationship with snow. It is beautiful but I hate the cold weather that comes with it. But if it is going to be cold I better have snow. Come on Mother Nature I'm waiting. Mr. Weatherman lied to me the other day and said we were supposed to wake up to 3 inches in the morning. That doesn't look like 3 inches to me.

This morning is just a Austin and mommy day. Ella is with her father and Brian is running around crazy with 3 different jobs. I enjoy our breakfasts and days just me and him. Now a brag moment. Look at how beautiful my egg looks.

Isn't he so adorable.
