 Hey loves. I am jumping back in and sharing all about our cruise to the Mexican Rivera we did with Norwegian back in March.

 Hey loves. We are jumping into Day 1 of our vacation that we took back at the end of February and beginning of March. We took our kids out of school and flew cross country to California to take a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We stayed in Long Beach California the day before our cruise. 

 Hey loves. We went on a cruise the first week of March, took the kids out of school, flew cross country, and had a blast. I keep meaning to share more about it but life happens. We are starting now. I have always wanted to write a "by the numbers" vacation post. Lindsay at Lindsay's Sweet World does them all the time, and Joanne from My Slices of Life just shared on this week. Here is a quick small recap, the full review will start next week.

We got to the park before official opening and headed straight to Fantasyland.

Thursday July 31, 2025

 Hey loves. I am starting our vacation recap for 2025. We spent a wonderful week down in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. This trip was extra special because it was my 40th birthday trip and we went with another family. 

If you have been around for a while we are a huge Disney family. We usually go to Disney World in Florida every other year. Brian and I have also went on three adults only Disney vacations. Yes I am a Disney adult, yes I love it. I also love the excitement and sparkle I see in my kids eyes while at Disney and all the magic. No I will never get tired of going to Disney. Each trip is different from where we stay, to the parks we go to, if we leave Disney property, my kids ages and heights of what they can ride, and Disney World changes so much with new rides every year.

Wednesday July 30th

 Hey loves. Time for part two, and the last part of our road trip to the farm. Brian's sister has a farm down in Kentucky that we go and visit at least once a year. It is about a 7 hour drive but we love going. (side note, it would take just as long if not longer to fly based on the closed airport and no direct flights)

Saturday July 12

 Hey loves. How is your week going so far? I have to admit this week is going better than the rest of summer. I grabbed my planner and I am getting organized, planning my day, and getting the things done. I even scrubbed the shower and bathtub yesterday, and I hate to admit they were gross and needed done. 

This past weekend we went on a mini road trip to Brian's sisters farm down in Kentucky. We have visited her once a year for the past 4 years. My kids love the animals while Brian and I love the relaxation as well as seeing his sister. I am sharing part 1 of our trip, sorry for the picture overload.

 Hey loves. Last week we surprised our kids with a one night stay at Castaway Bay. It is an indoor waterpark and hotel that is owned by Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. This was our first time doing a water park with our kids who are 5, 9, and 13. With their height and age differences it can be a struggle to keep them all happy and safe. Yesterday I shared day 1 of our overnight. Let's dive into day 2

 Hey friends. Happy Tuesday. It is starting to feel like fall, but this past week was hot in the 90s where we were in Kentucky then coming home to the 60s is a big change. We had a great weekend at Brian's sisters farm. We got in Monday night than it was time for dinner, showers, and get ready for back to school. Sorry not sorry for all the pictures.

and today is the final day of our trip. We had originally planned to come home Thursday, then it was suppose to be extended until Saturday for Brian to work more while we were down there. After the tornadoes that hit near our house, not knowing the full extend of the damage done to our house, family was still out of power, and the kids crying every night that they wanted their mommy we decided to not extend our trip.
