~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

This is one of my favorite random photos of Ella. She was 3 and we were walking up to the look at the lake. There were a bunch of dandelions on the tree lawn of the local shopping center. Ella decided to pick me a bunch of flowers before we could continue on our walk.

Mother's Day 3 years ago we decided to go to the zoo. It was free for mom's. Never again will we go on Mother's Day. It was the busiest I have ever been there. I think it was by noon they were at capacity which never happens.

My sweet little princess. Her smile and those curls.

This photo is hanging in my room and one of Ella's favorites. In her eyes both her and her brother are matching in zebra pj's even though he is really in striped.

Brian surprised me and took me to see Carrie Underwood in concert. He got talked with my boss at the time to make sure I had off work that evening, got a babysitter lined up for both kids. He then took me to my favorite taco restaurant. Then the concert. It was a fun night.

Austin has always been such a happy baby.

My princess has grown so much. To think in a little over a week she is officially be a second grader.

This was not a great memory but a memory that is still in our heads, especially this year we didn't want a replay. 4 years ago when I was around 31 weeks pregnant with Austin I feel on Memorial Day weekend. I went to sit on a cooler and it slid out from under me. I ended up spending over 24 hours in labor and delivery and all the fun started. I had started having contractions and was already dilated 1 1/2 centimeters. Thankfully we had a successful uneventful memorial day week, as in no hospital visits.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

Austin and I had a fun day at the zoo.

I took the kids to a small local dinosaur exhibit. They had a blast.

May was filled with a few play dates, with many more to come this summer.

We hosted another successful Mother's Day brunch

There has been lots of yard work going on.Still lots more to do still. But Austin had helped with a lot of it. (Ella too)

First family fire of the year with smores. (Brian had a guys night fire before this)

Mother Daughter Date with a play date mixed in to see Aladdin.

Lots of fun outside with the family and celebrating Memorial Day.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

Summer heat. We have already had a few days of temps in the 80s. This summer is predicted to be a hot one. The few days in the 80s have been rough already with staying hydrated and keeping up with my kids and dealing with random contractions. We are hopefully getting our A/C fixed soon so I won't have to worry as much.
