Brian's Sausage Gravy
Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage of your liking, hot or mild
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- salt/pepper
- garlic pepper
- onion powder
- parsley
Directions
- In a large pan over medium heat, brown sausage, breaking up into bite size pieces are you go
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Sprinkle flour over sausage, coat sausage. Cook 1 minute.
- Stir in milk to prevent flour from clumping, continue stirring for 1 minute.
- Bring to a simmer, cook until gray thickens about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Turn off heat. Add seasonings to your liking.
- Serve over warm biscuits
- Enjoy!!
