 Brian's Sausage Gravy


  • 1 lb breakfast sausage of your liking, hot or mild
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • salt/pepper
  • garlic pepper
  • onion powder
  • parsley


  1. In a large pan over medium heat, brown sausage, breaking up into bite size pieces are you go
  2. Stir in butter until melted. 
  3. Sprinkle flour over sausage, coat sausage. Cook 1 minute.
  4. Stir in milk to prevent flour from clumping, continue stirring for 1 minute. 
  5. Bring to a simmer, cook until gray thickens about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  6. Turn off heat. Add seasonings to your liking. 
  7. Serve over warm biscuits
  8. Enjoy!!
