Currently and Intentions for December

 Hey loves.

Linking up with Jennifer over at Overflowing with Thankfulness for currently. I am also sharing my intentions for the month and looking back at last months. First up....

~ loving ~

The kids got bogo tickets to the Lake Erie Monsters hockey game as part of the summer reading program. We went and had so much fun.

~ gifting ~

All the things for the holidays.

~ wrapping ~

I hate wrapping. Brian usually wraps all the gifts and then I just wrap his gifts. I need to wrap his presents for his birthday tomorrow.

~ hoping ~

My dad had knee surgery last Friday. He came home on Saturday and was back in the ER on Sunday. Between the pain, swelling, and unable to get himself up by himself (or with the help of just my mom) he has been admitted to the hospital for a few days and potentially going to a rehab facility for a few days. Hoping things get better for him and he can come home soon.

December Goals

This month is a crazy month with the holidays, after school activities, my father's having surgery, basketball, and who knows what else. My intentions for the month are a lot smaller. I don't need/want the overwhelm and/or crash.

  • Date night for Brian's birthday
  • Start new workout program
  • Do at least 5 rides this month
  • Read 5 books
  • Enjoy the holidays
  • Cross off at least half of times on Christmas Bucket List

  1. Thanks for linking up with us today, Adrienne! What a fun night out you had at that hockey game! My boys loved doing things like that with us when they were younger. That brought back so many memories! I'm so sorry to hear your dad is having such a hard time after his surgery. I'll pray that they're able to get his pain management under control soon and that he won't have to stay too long as he heals and for your mom as well. ❤

  2. The hockey game sounds like a fun night out! Hoping your dad starts to get better soon with a bit of rehab and a longer healing time. As much as I often like that they send me home ASAP sometimes I do think we are asking so much of people fresh out of surgery.

  3. That's so great that your husband wraps the Christmas presents. All the best wishes for a speedy recovery for your dad.
