Hey loves. Happy first Wednesday of the August. We are over here enjoying our last few weeks of summer before school starts. Today we are going to Cedar Point again, still getting our money worth on season tickets. More fun is planned for the next few weeks.
It's the first Wednesday of the month. I am taking a look back at my intentions for last month and sharing my intentions for this month.
But first linking up with Jennifer over at Overflowing with Thankfulness for currently.
Loving
All the time we have been spending outside playing with the kids. At least three times a week we spend time with our neighbors while the kids play together. I love having two other families with kids close to my kids age. We all get along and
Looking forward to
Our last few weeks of summer. We have planned playdates, a beach day, Cedar Point, playgrounds, picnic, camping in the backyard, and more.
Starting
To start thinking about the holidays. I know I know it is only August, but they will be here quicker than we want. I know my kids don't need a bunch of toys and we did good with limiting the amount of toys they got for their birthdays by getting them big gifts. I need to start coming up with ideas for Christmas gifts that are not toys they will play with a few times then never touch again.
Thinking
Summer has gone by way to fast.
Wearing
Nothing special, shorts and tank tops.

So hard to believe these are the "last few weeks" of summer. I know so many are starting back to school soon. No school age kiddos here but once the schools resume, summer just feels over - even for me!
ReplyDeleteSummer *has* gone by way too fast. And yeah, I should start thinking ahead to the holidays too. Otherwise, I'll be super stressed come December...
