What's Up Wednesday October Edition

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. How is October already coming to an end. it has been a crazy month with so much going on, I swear we didn't have a weekend without plans. In my mind I keep saying next week will slow down but it never does.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of October here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

I made a menu this week and it has already been thrown out the window. Brian didn't like that I had leftover soup that I made on Saturday planned for dinner on Sunday, so he made homemade marinara sauce for pasta. Monday night the kids and Brian were hanging out with friends until 730 and didn't eat dinner before they left so they had sausage when they got home (yes breakfast sausage patties). Tuesday I did make tacos. Tonight it is just the kids and I think we are doing leftovers and grilled cheese. Tomorrow will be leftover and we are out of town this weekend.

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Look at how dark and wild Anna's hair you to be. It has lightened up and has some waves now.

I miss the love Ella and Austin use to have for each other. Now Ella is a mean sister to him.

How was this 12 years ago. How do I have a 12 year old daughter.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Just a girl and her pumpkin

Sisterly love. They both were fighting colds. Anna ended up napping on Ella.

Even though this years soccer schedule did not go well for us (weather sickness, out of town) I loved seeing Anna in a sport and making friends.

My favorite part of our house is the fireplace. Lighting a fire to warm up, cozy vibes, roast marshmallows... The kids love it to when they are avoiding going to bed when I said it was bedtime.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We finally got a back patio put in. Austin and the neighborhood boys helped Brian with some landscaping.

Our family joined Prince of Peace Lutheran church.

My mom bought Anna a package of cards that came with 3 different games. She loves to play the matching and go fish game. The other game is called hearts and the directions don't make sense.

Pumpkin patch fun with some friends.

I had the opportunity to volunteer at Ella's school for their Fall fest. I was inside this year helping with the toilet paper mummies. Last year I was outside at the chalk station.

A sneak peak at our patio in the dark. It is not finished yet, more mulch and still working on steps.

Another day at the pumpkin patch. This time I had Ella and she got to go with us.

I decorated for Halloween, yes I got up on the roof.

Trunk or treating at our church with Elsa and a Storm Trooper

I have been on another baking sough dough kick. Bread, muffins, bagels. and sharing with friends.

I took Ella and her friend out to dinner, some window shopping and saw the Taylor Swift Era's Tour movie.

I have been making myself a priority 3 to 5 days a week. Some days I go downstairs and hop on my myx bike and go for a 20 minute ride. Other days I am doing pilates by Lindywell with the cutest little assistant.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

I am not really dreading anything. I am getting stressed over Thanksgiving approaching so quickly and Brian has so many house projects going on at the same time that he wants done by Thanksgiving but I don't see it happening. Most of these projects I cant help with either.

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

I created a Free Thanksgiving planner for the  newsletter digital library. You can still get a copy by signing up for my newsletter HERE

While I was making the Thanksgiving planner, I also made these fun for kids booklet and lunchbox jokes and listed them on my Etsy store

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

Trick or Treating with my kids, going to the farm this weekend and relaxing, taking down all the Halloween decorations, decorating for Christmas after Thanksgiving.

~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~

We had Hocus Pocus movie night and a glass of Witches Brew wine, the red wine. It was really good.

I am ready to watch Hallmark Christmas Movies while curled up with a glass of Hallmark Jingle wine.

Tanya shared the other day these images for all the Christmas movies and Great American Family. It was a great reminder to set to record on the frndly app so I wouldn't miss any of the new movies. Here are the images!!!

Still watching Vampire Diaries on my phone usually when washing dishes and other household chores. Almost done with season 4

~ WHAT I AM READING ~

Using my Audible membership and listening to Halloween romances that are included in the subscriptions. Currenting listening to Sweet Magic by Donna Kauffman

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~

I have been using Brian's cast iron skillet and I didn't clean it properly. (opps) Don't worry it got fixed. Brian tried to use one of my good lint free cloths to oil the cast iron but I stopped him. I ordered him these cast iron cleaner with lint free cloth. Game changer.

~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~

We are going on a road trip down to Kentucky to Brian's sisters farm. A few days of relaxing, hearing the chickens, seeing the cows and the changing of the leaves.

~ WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH ~

Hosting Thanksgiving our numbers keep growing and I wouldn't have it any other way.
