Hey friends. I am doing a quick post today. I spent 4 hours yesterday purging and organizing Anna's room. Then we spent most of the afternoon earning evening outside enjoying the gorgeous weather. 1. Thursday is National Pi Day...are you good at math? What was the last thing you had to calculate? Did you use your head or technology? Last slice of pie you ate?
No I am not good at math, especially the new common core math that makes no sense. The Last thing I had to calculate was my 2nd graders math homework that we ended up calling my 6th grader to help. I am all about using technology. I haven't had pie since Christmas and it was apple pie.
2. What makes a house a home?
Being with the ones you love. Also having a bouquet of flowers on the table always helps.
3. Your current favorite green thing?
Frogs yes real one, fake one, you name it I love frogs.
4. How do you define achievement? How does your personal definition look similar to, or different than, society's definition? What's something you think is worth achieving in life?
My definition compared to society is probably completely different. It isn't about the money, fame, climbing some ladder, or proving things to others. Having a happy home, making memories with my family, and living life to the fullest is worth achieving to me.
5. What song is a good soundtrack for your life right now?
gosh I have no idea I am going to have to think about this one.

I am loving this warmer weather and my kids wanting to be outside. We even ate dinner on our back patio yesterday. I need to evaluate our nightly routines because not everything is going to get done if we spent the evening outside. I will take outside with warm weather over my to do list though.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad my girls were done with school before common core...I would be of no help to them. I've been hearing the frogs outside the last few nights. I love it.
