Hey loves. It's the end of October. I officially have a 14 year old. We are in full Halloween fun and I am excited for a few days on the calendar next month that have nothing scheduled.
I love taking the time and talking about random things that I would discuss with my girlfriend over coffee or wine or water this morning. A totally random post. But I love reading others randomness too. Grab a coffee, tea, or wine and lets chat. Today Starbucks releases all things pumpkin!!!! I am sure I will grab one later today.
- I am back in my sourdough era. Over the summer I slacked on making sourdough. I was buying store bought buns, bread, snacks, etc. I personally notice how I feel after eating store bought bread compared to sourdough and I try to avoid it as much as possible. This past month I made English muffins, muffins, hamburger buns, waffles, and artisan bread.
- I bought a laptop desk for my bed (or couch). I was trying to get work done in my bed while watching Love is Blind and my posture just wasn't having it. I tried propping my laptop up on things and it just didn't work. The new desk is working great. Now I can watch tv on my days not in the office and still work, since Brian has taken over the office in the house and the TV in the living room.
- I also bought a standing desk to use while using my walking pad. I have used it a few times and also like it.
- I grabbed Garden Vegetable Soup from Trader Joes a few weeks ago. I made it last week when I wasn't feeling well. It is now my favorite soup ever. The flavor was just chef's kiss.
- Anna had a good soccer season. I am so thankful that we had gorgeous weather 90% of the time and our season ended right before the weather turned cold and rainy.
- I watched My Life with the Walton Boys, it is in Netflix, a cute PG series reminds me of The Summer I Turned Pretty but not as good. I watched this season of Love is Blind. So many red flags. I also watched Sirens which I enjoyed.
- I love my blog readers- minus one Anonymous commenter that only comments negativity towards my children (I delete all the messages). I will not put up with negativity, harassment, harsh comments, etc. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. It is flattering that said person has nothing better to do than post a comment on my blog everyday being a keyboard warrior. Reminds me of the new song "Actually Romantic" by Taylor Swift. Last note is hurt people hurt people. I know they have issues of their own they need to work out and are taking it out on my kids.
- Anna had lice again. I am becoming a pro at thoroughly treating her in one session, this is only the second time she has had it. I would never want to give it to someone else. It is no fun getting rid of.
- I feel like I am behind on Christmas shopping this year. I know it isn't even Halloween yet but usually I have a good chunk already purchased. This year we are doing less stuff and bigger priced items.
- I am 30 days into reading the Bible Recap every day again. I am really enjoying getting back into a morning routine with purpose.
