October Monthly Musing

Hey loves. Happy Thursday. Its Time for Monthly Musings with for Patty and Holly.

1- Favorite Halloween traditions
Carving pumpkins and going trick or treating

2- Any special Halloween dinners or spooky snacks? Please share recipes.
My kids love Jack O Lantern Quesadillas, and Mummy Dogs

3- What do you typically do on Halloween?
Since my kids are 6 and 10, they can't go trick or treating by themselves so we take them trick or treating with our neighbor friends. There is a whole group of us. This year Ella is also having her birthday party sleepover on Halloween. She has a few friends coming over to go trick or treating with her as well.
Since Halloween is on a week night we will also order a bunch of pizzas and all get together to make getting ready for Halloween and dinner easier.

4- Do you carve or paint pumpkins?
Carve

5- Favorite Halloween candy?
Chocolate, usually snickers or kit kats

6- What are you giving out for Halloween this year?
We don't get that many kids on our end of the street. We give out handfuls of mixed candy from suckers to tootsie rolls, mini chocolate bars, etc.

7- Full size or fun size?
Both my kids loving getting the full size, I like the fun size so I don't sit there and eat a whole candy bar.

8- Favorite Halloween Costume of All Time?
My mom made my sister and I black witches costumes when we were little. We wore them for probably 2 or 3 years in a row. She also made us angel costumes one year too.

9- Favorite Halloween Movies?
Hocus Pocus, The Craft, Practical Magic, Scream 1, 2, 3, and Spookley the Square Pumpkin

10- What are the trick or treat hours where you live?
From 6pm to 8pm, honestly by 7-730 the kids are tired and start winding down.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

Feel free to follow along.

  2. I love a home made costume. Definitely fun size here too. Of course I probably eat enough to count as a full size by night's end : ) Happy Halloween!
