Hey loves. Happy Thanksgiving week. It is the start of the crazy holiday season. Either today or tomorrow we are putting up one of our trees, our Elf on the Shelf arrives tomorrow, and all the decorating happens on Friday after we host Thanksgiving.
I love taking the time and talking about random things that I would discuss with my girlfriend over coffee or wine or water this morning. A totally random post. But I love reading others randomness too. Grab a coffee, tea, or wine and lets chat. Today Starbucks releases all things pumpkin!!!! I am sure I will grab one later today.
- My kids are officially on Thanksgiving break. They only had school on Monday this week, today is a teachers day with conferences.
- A local friend/ police officer died last week from a heart attack. He was only 42. It has been a harsh reality that even though he was young anything can happen. Hug your loved ones close.
- Christmas is going to be here before we know it. I have a few people already done and have bought a few things for my kids. We also already did pictures with Santa and mailed our letters to Santa too.
- There is snow in the forecast for this weekend. I am so excited and I hope it sticks.
- We had conferences for Anna and Austin and both had great feedback from their teachers. Anna teacher said she would love to keep her in 1st grade forever as she is the best and she is a little peanut. Austin's teachers
- Ella doesn't need a conference. Once you hit 5th grade conferences are options usually unless a child is having issues or struggling. Ella currently has a 4.05 GPA and no issues.
- I am on the struggle bus getting into a good routine again. I thought I had found a workout program I enjoyed, then after purchasing a month it turned out the workouts were closer to 45 minutes and I don't have the time for that everyday.
- Next week Anna and Austin start basketball practice with Brian as the coach. I had to switch Anna's gymnastics to a different day because they were at the same time.
- I was doing laundry the other day and had some music on, I realized that I haven't listened to so many audiobooks lately because I have been listening to more music. I don't know if this is good or bad.
- Who is ready for the wonderful fun of the Elf on the shelf? My kids have already been asking when ours are returning.
- I need a whole week to sit and purge every room in the house. There is so many toys, crafts, odds and ends that just need to go.
