Summer's Half Over - Summer Update

Hey loves. How is it already the middle of July? My kids go back to school in one month. This summer and year has already flown by. I know this next month will also fly. We are trying to get as much fun as we can before school starts. Fall Ball is also starting back up, my oldest is running a program at the middle school so she has random days she will be at school, and who knows what else.

Summer has not gone as planned, but we are making the most of it.

We Have Been Up To

- We had to have the front top bunk of our camper rebuilt. There was water damage and soft wood that we didn't know about when we bought the motor home. We got it all fixed and are going camping for the first time (not in the driveway) this weekend.

Anna and Austin kids attended VBS at our church. Ella volunteered and ran the art projects. This was over a month ago and Anna is still singing the songs and keeps asking when she can go back to VBS again. (next year my love.)

- Brian had his wisdom teeth removed. It was a longer recovery due to having do more a jaw surgery than just a wisdom tooth removal.

-

We made a stop in Columbus for a quick dinner at North High.

-

A little adventure while in Kentucky and visited Cumberland Falls National Park.

-

Our last visit to the farm in Kentucky before my sister in law moved to California. We have had years a wonderful memories and relaxation. It will truly be missed, but new adventures will come with trips to Cali.

-

We have gone to Cedar Point 3x this summer. Not as many as we would have liked but still enough to make the price worth it and making memories.

-

Anna played her first season of softball. A lot more laid back than baseball but a lot of fun and more relaxing. Bonus she never complained about going.

-

Another year supporting the TJ Carrie Heart Walk. The kids said they want to run next year, we will have to train for that.

-

Taylor Swift tribute band concert. It was a night of fun and the girls being full of their personalities.

-

There has been a lot of baseball this year. Austin's season went an additional week that anticipated. He was with a great group of boys and wonderful parents.

-

Celebrated 4th of July with being festive, a parade, cookout, and fireworks.

-

This is the before, but also an older photo because I failed to take a good full before photo. We had our house exterior updated. I haven't shared anything about it yet so that will be coming soon.

We celebrated Anna turning 7

-

Took the kids to Lake Erie twice, both times they didn't really go swimming as we hadn't planned it but still had fun. (also Lake Erie in Ohio is gross and always has beach advisories for unsafe water conditions)

-

My kids have consumed quiet a bit of ice cream this summer. Either at home or going out.

-

Ella has been out of her room a lot more, spending time with the family, having friends and her boyfriend over.

-

Austin's baseball team went to the championship and came in second.
