Meal Planning Monday

Yesterday was a crazy busy day. I slept in after having a even crazier Saturday. I had to work part of the day, came home and finished up my weekly menu and grocery list, then went out grocery shopping, which was crazy busy. Then I came home put everything away, started cleaning, had a follow-up call from an event I did over the weekend, plus so much cleaning it all didn't get done. (and it isn't getting done today either)
Today starts week 2 of the New Year New You Health Bet accountability group and I am doing Country Heat. For my menu this week I have decided to keep it very simple. It helps to save on cost, prep, and having to think to much. I also based my menu around foods we already had in the house instead of buying a whole bunch of new foods and other food going to waste. I am sticking to the same thing for breakfast and snacks everyday, plus lunch, kinda. I change up lunches with leftovers but it will be the same container count.(1 yellow, 1 red, 1 green, 1 blue)
Here is my menu for the week. Tuesday dinner is in the crockpot and we will have leftovers on Wednesday.

Here was my grocery haul for this week. Remember I had a bunch of food at home already, this was just the rest of what I needed. I spent less than $50 for our family of 4. Eating healthy and clean can be affordable. You just have to stick to it.
