Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. Happy end of June. It has been another crazy month (aren't they all). This is the first week there hasn't been something planned everyday and I am ok with that. It has been hot, I'm talking about the heat index above 100. We have been outside in the little pool and inside cooling off in the air and not much more.
It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.
On the last week of June here's what's up...
~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~
Monday- Crockpot Shredded Chicken sandwiches with Zucchini fries (we did not make this last week after so much leftovers from Father's Day)
Tuesday- Shredded Chicken Tacos
Wednesday- Burger in a Bowl
Thursday- Leftovers
Friday- Pineapple Chicken with Quinoa Bowl
Saturday- Birthday Party
Sunday- my birthday
~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~
Summer days when Anna was so small and content in a little pool. Now they all want a bigger pool.
We are counting down the days until we go to Disney again. The last time we went as a family I had a preteen, but she was just as excited as her little siblings. I hope she loves it just as much again.
7 years ago Ella did gymnastics, Anna is now starting.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~
It is iced coffee weather and a nice afternoon pick me up, especially with temps above 100.
I love these two are still pretty much content in our little pool. We also have the water slide they play with at times too.
I love where we live that we get the wildlife, from lots of birds, chipmunks, rabbits occasionally, a groundhog (that ate our garden), and all the deer.
Let's not forget our baby birds that hatched this week.
~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~
We started off the month dog sitting. This was a first and a last time we will be doing sitting, and there is no dog in our near future. The kids love the idea but not the responsibility. There was a 2 and a half hour ordeal chasing a dog who ran away, and lots of accidents in the house. It sure was learning experience but also fun.
Ella had her last day of 7th grade.
Austin had his last day of 3rd grade. This all feels so long ago but their last day was on the 11.
We have been doing all the t-ball. Anna usually has a game once or twice a week.
Austin has been doing baseball. Some weeks he has one game, this week he had 4 scheduled in 8 days, one of which got rained out so far. We did play in 104 temps which was no fun for anyone.
We have gone to Cedar Point a few times. (not as many times as Brian had hoped but to many baseball games)
Summer church has been outside at the pavilion.
We celebrated Father's Day
Anna and Austin went to Vacation Bible School that was at our church (co-hosted with 5 other churches). They had so much fun, Anna is still singing and dancing to the songs. They were both sad it was only 5 days.
The pool has been brought out and filled up a few times already. ( and moved around the yard)
Anna requested to get her own library card, she previously just always used mine. She was so excited.
~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~
Nothing currently.
~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~
Getting used to a new schedule and routine with my kids home and me working at the office and from home.
~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~
Two vacations next month, one to the farm, the other to Disney.
~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~
nothing, I have not turned on the TV since the kids have been home from school.
