M&M and Chocolate Chip Cookies

A few weeks ago I was craving chocolate and Ella had asked for cookies. We were out grocery shopping and she reminded me that I promised we could bake some together. I grabbed the chocolate chips and she found M&M's she wanted to add also.

I am all about being healthy, but also practicing the 80/20 rule. Every once in a while I want a homemade, soft chocolate chip cookie. I also don't shelter my kids to never have any fun, but they don't get it all the time. Like only a few times a year we do actually eat fast food. It is a treat, not their life.

I may not be the best baker, but I at least try and I am learning. It takes practice, patience, and making mistakes. I also really need some new baking sheets.
