Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

I love banana bread and I love chocolate chips. I love them even more when they are put together. Brian isn't always a huge fan that I add chocolate to a lot of things. (oh well Chocolate makes the world go round.) Here is my favorite recipe for Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. I made it for Easter brunch and everyone loved it.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup agave nectar (you can use honey if you don't have agave nectar)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (ok really I don't measure I just dump a bunch in)

Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray
2- In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until crumbly. Add in eggs. Beat on high until light and fluffy. Beat in bananas, applesauce, agave, and vanilla extract.
3- Slowly add in flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.
4- Pour into loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes
5- Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from pan and place on a write rack.
6- Serve!
7- Enjoy!
