It has been another rough start of a month and year. As soon as I start to think things are starting to slow down and we are going to get into a routine we get hit with a bus. Austin had a fever or 105 for 8 days. Then Brian dislocated his shoulder and possibly has to have surgery, we see a second opinion on Monday.
Last month I didn't set specific intentions for the month, but did set intentions for the year. I have been working on getting into a new routine that consists of a lot more driving around that I had previously been doing, getting my body moving everyday, being more focused on the time I have with my kids, and getting more energy. Last month was rough and this month started off rough, getting into a new routine has been very rough, getting the kids on board with the new routine was rough... But we are thriving and pushing and going to keep figuring it out. A girlfriend was talking about "God Never Gives You More Than You Can Handle". I so want to argue with this statement right now but I know it is true. It is only going to make me stronger in the long run.
Lets recap my intentions for 2020
- Use planners/calenders to stay organized
- Purge stuff we don't need/want
- Clean Schedule
- Natural Products
- Monthly Date with Brian
- Monthly Kids Date one on one time
- Be more present
- Be more intentional no scrolling
- Best Version of Me
February Intentions
- Planners - update all calendars, it is the middle of the month and I am behind already
- Purge- Kitchen and my clothes
- Clean Schedule- keep up with cleaning schedule
- Natural Products- Finish reading Clean Mama book
- Monthly Date with Brian- Valentines Day
- Monthly kids date - Austin and me, Brian and Aubriella
- Be more present- no phones from 4-6 daily
- More Intentional on phone - no phone while putting Audrianna to bed, only kindle to read
- Best Version of Me- get back to working out (this week has been rough)
I would love to add more intentions and goals for this month. But lets be real I am barely making it by everyday. In a sense I am a single mom of 3 doing pretty much everything. Brian is very limited of what he can do. I have Audrianna 24/7 unless I have a sitter for an hour or so for Girl Scouts or drs appointments because Brian can't lift her or hold her. Until we determine that exact game plan for Brian a lot of things are in limbo.
What are your intentions for February?
