Friday Favorites

The weekend is finally here. Happy Friday. It has been a week. I am so excited for no virtual learning for two days and family time. Week 2 is done only 7 more weeks of virtual learning hopefully. This week had different struggles than last week but we made it through.

Fall is here. The temps are cooler and I am ready for all the fall activities. We are planning on

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

These two helping Brian make pancakes for breakfast. I think we need to invest in a kids kitchen step stool.

If she wasn't so cute with a plate on her head she may have gotten yelled at. This was the first time I gave her a plate, we normally just put the food on her tray. We are starting to give her plates and bowls and this is what is happening.

Umm when did Aubriella get big enough to cook on the stove without a stool. Audrianna was throwing a fit so I was sitting on the floor nursing her and Ella was helping make tacos for dinner.

Mother Daughter Time while leading by a positive example
Wednesday was rough, hell this whole virtual learning situation is rough. Ella and I both had a hard day for different reasons. When Brian got home I told him I was getting a workout done before dinner. I needed to do something productive for me.
I did the sample workout for a new program releasing in a few weeks that is a hybrid running and resistance training. If you know me I am not a runner.
When it came to the running portion Ella asked if she could run with me. I knew she could keep up because she occasionally will go running with Brian. While on our run Ella was surprised and excited she kept up with me. She asked if we could do it again.
These are the memories she will remember. Maybe we will start running more often together. I just need good running shoes. Any recommendations?

Austin got an hour of free entertainment while the street infront of our house got torn up and patched. Plus it was garbage day. It was a hot mess of traffic to say the least.

  1. It's so fun to see your kiddos helping you in the kitchen! We've been wanting to get a kitchen helper as well, because Ella is always wanting to help us cook. I hope virtual learning gets easier... I can't imagine how difficult that must be, on top of everything else you do at home!

  3. Love the picture of the kiddos on the stool helping make pancakes! So sweet!! I have BOD but haven't tried the sample of the new program yet. I am SO not a runner either, but you give me hope that I should try it and maybe I will like it. You are a great example for your daughter, mama! Good job!! Have the best weekend!
