Peppermint Mocha Latte

It is that time of the year for all things Peppermint Mocha. I will admit I was at Starbucks on the day it was released and also there getting on Red Cup day. I love their drinks but it is always just a treat, there is so much sugar in them and additives I prefer not to have. 

Peppermint Mocha Latte

  • 12 oz almond or coconut milk
  • 4 oz of espresso or coffee (I just have coffee at home)
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/3 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, warm coconut milk and espresso/coffee.
  2. Pour the warmed milk mixture into a mug. 
  3. Add cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and maple syrup
  4. Using a frother, mix for about 30 seconds.
  5. Enjoy!!
